The best battlefield in terms of gameplay since BF4. Sadly, there are issues that get in the way.

Mainly, since launch this game has crashed every play session for me and my friends. At least once a day for each one of us, every time. Hard for me to enjoy the game much when I can only complete every other match. It did not crash thos much for me in the Beta. MB bios and GPU fw and drivers are up to date. Resizable BAR enabled. This is the only game that crashes this often.

Relatively minor but still a sore point, a FOMO battlepass does not belong in a $70 game. Those are for free or cheap games. The battlepasses should not expire like helldivers warbonds at minimum. If I could refund this I would.

They can keep this small L for the below L in game design. Great story, great performance, fun, and immersive, but small things like this severely diminish what would otherwise be a flawless experience. And so, I'm still salty. There are lots of positive and fair reviews to counter this fair negative criticism. The game is not without its bugs. I have an orange bunny stuck at the top of my screen, and I can't find the NPC that gave it to me to fix it. So its stuck there forever.

Warhorse you bozos. Restarted my save 8 hours in. WHY is the NEW GAME at the TOP of the PAUSE MENU? Who the ♥♥♥♥ opens up the menu and wants to immediately restart the game? The SAVE button goes at the top guys. PLEASE. If anyone wants to restart the game it should be from the main menu.

No ultrawide support for singleplayer.

Ultrawide works properly in splitscreen but someone decided to add black bars to force 16:9 when playing solo. What a poor decision.

There is a third party work around already, but it's a shame I have to risk a ban to enjoy the game to its maximum potential

Tldr: No ultrawide support

It's a fun game. If you're on a 16:9 monitor there is nothing bad to say. One of my most played games on steam.

That being said, I upgraded my monitor to 21:9 this past year. I'm just learning Elden ring doesn't natively support ultrawide resolutions. I'm forced to play 16:9 or play offline in 21:9 with mods. So if you want to play in 21:9. Pirate the game, you won't get online features anyway

This game is pretty nice
