Amazing game that always keeps me coming back to it. The devs are nice and seem to take in feedback from the community, they stream and talk about upcoming things, and do plenty of giveaways. Really nice to see that after all this time they are still going just as strong and passionately. Community in this game is easily one of the best I have had the pleasure of being apart of as well. People will help, give tips, show builds, and none of that sickly sweet fake positivity that FF14 struggles with, or the high and mighty attitude late stage WoW players get.
Gameplay loop is fun, riven mods to help older weapons with power creep so you can still use whatever your fav is in higher level content. Always more content to do, or grind. More customizations than you have configs for. The premium currency is tradable. I LOVE this game.

I love this game. 9/10. You can collect currency to get more decor, or unlock more through story (wish more was available through story!) You can resize, adjust tension, rotate, everything you place. The NPCs comment on what you do around them, and seeing them in multiple locations was a really nice touch.

My only complaints are levels after the main storyline is completed (post credits) the levels feel unpolished, and placing decor can be weird. There will be houses that are unlit weirdly, rooms you can get into that probably shouldn't be open (windows that don't go outside, but from inside look like they do, insanely dark rooms that don't light up with any amount of lights, lol) or the most glaring when textures/models aren't covering everything they should. IE, a room's floor might not meet the wall, and you can see the snow and grass beneath. Before finishing the story, only one place (the sewers) felt like there were sections of walls missing and whatnot. My only other slight complaint is when placing things and adjusting them, they can get stuck and unable to be adjusted. This means constantly replacing and undoing until you get what you are looking for, spamming left click and trying to drag it before it gets stuck again.
Neither of these complaints keep me from playing this in the future. I LOVED this game. Best Bean.

Loved this game when I initially played through some years ago. Saw they added achievements and dev commentary, and fell in love with the game all over listening along to them talk about all sorts of game details. Honestly was really inspiring to listen in on how such a beautiful game came to be.

Game is worth it whether you want to *feel* something with the story, or an "easy" achievement game.

Such an amazing labor of love. You can tell the team put so much into every aspect of the game, along with caring for the community they fostered with it. The music is a banger all on its own. There is enough customization to keep anyone happy. Game play loop is entertaining and unique. Its one of those experiences you wish you could have over and over again, fresh from the start.

TLDR: Console disables achievements, didnt want to mod the game but thats how you get it playable.

I can and will get thousands of hours out of an elder scrolls game, and that's without mods even being a thought. Unfortunately, in X year of our lord we still try and dictate how video games are played. Having the console disable achievements is so short sighted. It almost feels like they haven't had a "real" play-through themselves. NPCs will bug. Whether stuck in a floor, fully buried, or just outright *missing* from the game for some reason. It happens out of your control, off screen so you cant even save scum to hopefully bring that character back. Items will do the same things at more extremes. That's why the console is there. Why does it disable achievements? Let alone, why does any sort of interaction with it disable achievements from that save there on out? You can't even type "help" without it blocking them. How long until we disable achievements when you use the easiest/swap difficulty? Save scum for any reason? Enable/disable the wrong settings? Seems silly for something so easily pressed, in the game by default, not even blocked by a setting like 'dev mode'.

Love every part of the game, apart from the achievement to get 1 million in your bank. IMO should be a net worth, or a lifetime earned. You don't get most of the decorations until late game, which focuses your spending on the cheaper option of stations and shelving. Leveling yourself is a little tedious but it was only an issue getting to level 40, every other leveling bracket felt pretty natural. Egg hatching is random which I don't like since I've hatched a few types over and over, and never seen others. The hat store is adorable, and I hope that the world gets a few more stores/buildings added. It would be cool to take your mon to a park where they follow you or explore on their own, a concert hall/contest center, a photo booth. Could even give the deliveries a physical location so you can check things out before buying them, especially the expensive post game decorations.

Favorite mon is Pikto! Though my center is patrolled by many uniformed (police hat'd) Pikoko and P. Lumen.

If you want to play this game on controller on PC don't bother. There has been a constant and consistent bug where if you wanna swap items the dial freaks out, you can no longer USE the dial, and the menu below the dial is greyed out so you cant see the item selected. I don't blame people not coming back to the game, its not crashing anymore but it isn't any better to have to restart manually. If you play on keyboard I haven't noticed any issues control wise. The game itself WILL still lock up, black screen or forever loading. A bar you hope is moving at least a little. A better PC has not fixed any of these issues. Save early and often.

Cosmetics in this iteration of MH are also bad LOL. It was a sign when we couldn't layer weapons. I only play hammer and 90% of the hammers are kinda gross or messy to look at in comparison to other classes. There's no hammer for the FF crossover event (they didn't bother making one for most weapons) and there's no event hammers to my knowledge either.

Wish there was more monsters to hunt, wish the arch-tempered had a bigger visual difference between it and normal, wish they had different moves/effects.

TLDR - If you LOVE Monster Hunter, it will scratch the itch. It has alot of improvements from the last, but is lacking in many other areas. DLC might help flesh the game out more, if we get it.
