I just got around to playing this and was very impressed. It demonstrates how this fairly new form of media can be used to tell stories with player involvement. Although it is a short narrative, I would say that it is unique and engaging enough to recommend to just about anyone. It paints death in an interesting and positive light.

Games like this are a great way to introduce people to the medium who are looking to take a slower approach and appreciate good writing. Overall, Firewatch is literally and figuratively an escape on the pressures of life and showcase how this fairly new medium can be used as an art.

A very relaxing and enjoyable game, if you don't restrict the time too low. I always have a great time playing this with my friends and enjoy the diversity of the courses and colorful visuals.
