this game is amazing

If you like to suffer, this is the game for you!

Decisions need to matter, and it interesting to see this Ludonarrative game tackle the classic rpg formula from a different perspective. The dark, perma-death setting leads to moments of exuberant triumpth over the unexpected, and moments of true despair. Without one or the other, Darkest Dungeon would not pack the memorable punch it does!
I have bought and recommended this game to countless numbers of my friends, and I do think it is an experience everyone should try at least once. Thank you, Devs!

Surprisingly fun, creative, and enjoyable! Once you get over the initial anxiety of the horror game aspect and play from the persepctive of both the killer and the survivor, you really get into the flow of things. You can feel your progress as you better learn to pass quick time events, dodge killers, and balance perks in this game. Even the bugs feel charming to me.
There are a few balancing issues that need to be addressed, but other than that, I can't wait to see what the Devs do next with this exciting asymmetric Co-op experience!

I would recommend you always play with good friends though, as it is much easier if you are all communicating and organized.

This game provides realistic diaologue between teenagers who are faced with the Tramua of surviving a touch with the unnatural. There are multiple endings, and your decisions in game feel s though they have weight to them and really matter.
