If you're a fan of the mega man battle network series this game is for you. It is much more fast paced then battle network was and splashes a bit of bullet hell in it. Overall though the characters are fun and unique with their own play styles and the spells are so wonderfully diverse that each play through feels different.

Shovel Knight is all those old NES platforms I used to love as a kid. It takes elements from Mega Man, Castlevania, and even Duck Tales and blends it all together to make solid gameplay. It's a great game with fun levels and very interesting and unique boss fights only issue I have with this game is it's really short, but that's an issue any old platforming game had back in the day.
