I couldn’t actually play the game at first because the Training Grounds refused to launch — I’d hit ā€œPlayā€ and get sent back to the menu every time. For a moment, I was just a professional menu tester. Turns out my antivirus was the issue, and disabling it fixed everything.

That aside, the game already looks much better than it did at The Game Awards. If you’re into Apex Legends or Titanfall, it’s easy to see what it’s aiming for and that it wants to offer something different.

Yes, it has a long way to go — but it really doesn’t deserve this level of hate. Like every new online game, it’s going to spend its early days fighting bugs, servers, and reality itself. This feels like something people should try for themselves before picking a side.

The Evil Within 2 is like stepping into a haunted art museum curated by your unresolved trauma. One minute you’re stealth-killing goo monsters like a horror ninja, the next you’re in a psychological fever dream arguing with a man who thinks murder is a form of photography.

Sebastian Castellanos might be the most exhausted protagonist in gaming, and honestly, same. I came for the horror, but I stayed for the dad-on-a-mission energy and somehow ended up emotionally invested in this twisted nightmare of a world. Also, props to the game for making stealth both rewarding and completely optional.

If you like horror, emotional damage, and crafting bullets out of literal garbage while being hunted by angry meat sculptures, this game is for you. 10/10, would mentally spiral in a digital hellscape again.

Finished Starfield and all I got was a galaxy full of loading screens, boring planets, and NPCs with the emotional range of drywall.

Tried a stealth mission—had to steal a key item. Opened the case: empty. Turns out patching the game broke my old save. Bethesda innovating by letting you roleplay as a confused thief.

Exploration? Feels like Google Maps with extra steps.

Would rather get sucked into a black hole than reload that save again.

Started off thinking, ā€œWow, this is a piece of RPG history!ā€
4–5 hours later: ā€œOkay... I think I’ve seen enough.ā€
40 hours later: Achievement unlocked: Regret.

I have no idea why I forced myself to get every achievement. Maybe I just wanted to suffer in HD. The game screams its age — from clunky mechanics to NPCs staring into your soul like haunted mannequins. And the bugs? Let’s just say the final DLC quest turned into a crash-to-desktop simulator.

Got my final achievement, uninstalled, stared at the wall for a bit, and questioned my life choices. 10/10 nostalgia trip, would not recommend (unless you're a masochist like me).

Lords of the Fallen demonstrates strong artistic ambition, particularly with its dual-realm system using the lantern—a creative mechanic that clearly had a lot of thought and effort behind it. However, the gameplay experience falls short in several key areas.

Compared to other Soulslike titles, this game feels noticeably easier, which significantly affects its challenge and overall replayability. Boss fights are especially underwhelming—generic, lacking in memorable mechanics, and failing to leave a lasting impression. Most importantly, the combat lacks impact. The hit feedback is weak, making encounters feel less satisfying than what fans of the genre might expect.

That said, one area where the game truly shines is in its visual design. The armor and weapon designs—just like in the first game—are beautifully crafted, stylish, and rich in detail. It’s clear that a lot of passion went into the game's aesthetics.

Despite these strengths, the core gameplay issues make Lords of the Fallen difficult to recommend, especially to seasoned Soulslike players.

Having completed Nightreign with full achivements on PC, I’m thoroughly impressed. At its core, Nightreign blends tense co‑op encounters with atmospheric world‑building in a seamless package.

Gameplay & Combat
Combat is tight and aggressive, rewarding timing and strategic build choices. Boss battles stood out with cinematic flair and challenging mechanics—particularly that memorable encounters mid‑game, which pushed me to refine both dodge timing and skill rotations.
