Finished my platinum on PS5 since they were on PS+, I originally bought this game to co-op with friends. The grind was a bit slow sure, but the bosses and fights were satisfying. For my platinum run tho, I put the grind settings to max so the progression was much faster. Skills were super fun, and actually tried different builds for different bosses was the gamechanger for me. Personally I wouldn't touch the PvP part but judging from the fights/skills it could be insanely fun or abysmal dogturd because of the balancing. If you like isometric ARPG like Diablo, Torchlight, or Path of Exile... well, the grind was on the crafting/survival part, so just enjoy the fight. If you're looking for Valheim or Rust kind of crafting/survival, maybe just get it on sale.

i LOVE the game, and i WILL change the recommendation IF they manage to fix a lot of things like crashes every now and then, fps drops, awful camera (got motion sick the first few hours), villager AI constantly getting stuck, bad controller support despite being on PS5, list goes on. i bought this game on early access hoping it would be good. IT IS GOOD. crazy good. just... technical issues, and maybe the fact it's built on UE5. its definitely for enthusiasts the way micro-managing lacks QoL so you have to do things slowly and painfully. get it on sale or wait for another major update. i personally will revisit when i have some time off and a major update drops. good luck for the dev team

Treat it as a Final Fantasy/Bravely/JRPG with a farming sim as a side flavor and you'll have a really good time. You might even start to like the farming part if you're BOTH JRPG and farming sim guy. Just don't get it if you're really a farming sim focus, there are better farming sims out there.

i would never have guessed rockstar can make me sympathize and love a wanted crook like arthur morgan. never worked for gta and bully before. great characters but they're ultimately criminals and class representatives. but arthur here, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. one of the greatest anti-hero of all time
