I pirated this game years ago. Ended up buying it and all 3 dlcs along with telling some friends about it who also bought all dlcs. it says i have about 140 hours at time of review but its probably more like 2000. Fact is its a great game. If it looks interesting enough for you to try it then i promise you will love the game. Its a lot like the sims in a way. Totally different feeling game but basically you try to keep everyone happy while providing instructions and they do the rest. Think of it like micromanaging an ant farm except they commit war crimes, kidnap children and enslave, slaughter the homeless that dare get to close, eat the flesh of their enemies and wear their skin as hats.

i have 1000+ hours in the game. I bought the dlc to basically get everything and have it working in the base game and 9.99 isnt much money to me. However the main focus of the DLC is pure garbage. I knew it was gonna be fly up simulator but this is missing and/or does a lot of things really wrong/confusing. There are no satellite components to transmit data across vast distances(unless radios have infinite up distance? not sure) a lot of sensors dont work in space which i can understand but I just feel like there isnt enough here to really have fun in space and make vehicles that are fun to build/drive. I got a mission on space i did not complete but I can only imagine if I took that man to the hospital on earth they would pay me like $8000 for the mission which is great because i paid in the 100's of thousands to get there. no workbenches or buildable base ont he moon either which makes going there kind of a waste of time imo. It also takes a long time to get to the moon(one of the reasons I never liked shipping cargo) it takes too long to get any sort of reward without cheesing the game. Like what the hell am i supposed to do out here in space? its just like the industrial DLC they just plopped a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ down took your money and said good luck. Where is the actual game play? I just want to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Fishing dlc needs to be a thing not this.

100% unplayable i get this is in "early access" but this doesnt even feel like an alpha stage game. Its more like a tech demo filled with bugs and i mean FILLED. I have about 4 hours in this game and all of them were spent on trying to make it work. Trucks/equipment just sliding and break dancing all over the place. Ive seen 5 dev blogs since purchase and its been nothing but word salad. I also heard from a ton of other people this game is built using blueprints in unreal engine, if this is true this game will never be finished and working properly. Blue prints are not intended for making whole games. Its a lazy way to proof of concept something before writing proper scripts. I bet this game is FILLED TO THE BRIM with memory leaks. I rarely leave reviews but this game is such a scam its not even funny.

If things change I will change my review but as it stands this is a HARD no from me right now.

game is not worth it even at reduced price. extensive UI that makes no sense. Mods make the game fun yet they dont like mods. Feels like trash on controller and if you have a sim rig you might as well get iracing. I bought this when it was new and waited for content. it never came.

This game is a ride my friends. 100% worth the money. Not so much a card game imo its more like a live action board game. I fealt like i was playing some form of dungeons and dragons but with cards. I dont want to say too much though and give it away but if you're on the fence about buying it I promise you its worth it.

So I'll start by saying this is 100% and unfinished game but I bought it knowing that and also looking forward to the huge update coming in feb. Its not one of those games that tells you what to do so if you're looking for that I'd give this one a pass for now. I enjoy it because withing its simplicity is so much concentration and utter fear as you stalk/hide from other dinos. The biggest thing I'm enjoying about the game is its players are not that of the ones you see on rust. I like both games but its nice to play something without getting ♥♥♥♥ talked every 5 seconds.

In its state I give it a 6.5/10 will probably move to 7.5-8/10 after update.

P.S this game can be very hard sometimes and the combat system isnt too great yet.

I enjoyed the singleplayer story and I also enjoyed many hours online(not just on pc either)

As much as i enjoy this game I can not recommend it. Pvp is pure trashhhhhhhhhh you never know how you died or who killed you with what weapon. Im not saying im a fps expert but of all the games ive played this ♥♥♥♥ feels like terrible. Finding guns isnt that bad but its just a bunch of dudes with 1000+ hours running around with all the loot. Every time I die its insane how you cant pinpoint where they came from. I just hear bang bang and I die every single time. I dont hear them I dont see them its never a close fight. Just a dude with a machine gun and godly aim apparently. Despite the bugs I want to suggest this game but the fact it takes me and my friend hours to get started up just to get raped by some guys with 1000s of hours really turns me off. So devs I hear you only listen to the like 2-300 some people who are loyal to this game and I ignored those comments but it seems very apparent its true now.

Long story short: the combat system in this game is ♥♥♥♥. Pure ♥♥♥♥ feels like the original duke nukem with better graphics

If you like being treated like crap stabbed in the back and screwed over every chance you get then rust is for you! Great game if you like survival/pvp its a good one. The best part is servers wipe the maps regularly(depending on the server) so the game does a really good job of not getting old for new players.

Edit: still good months later, constant updates and optional dlcs that add fun non pay-to-win items
