I joined the warhammer 2 train towards the later half of its lifespan but I was hooked deep on this franchise. Going into warhammer 3 release this game easily generated the most hype for me years of gaming. The release was a dumpster fire:
- Broken on release (norm of modern AAA titles)
- Horrible campaign mechanic
- Somehow decrease in quality of multiple areas compared to warhammer 2

After the launch there was slow but noticeable changes to "fix" the game shown by the occasional patches and with the introduction of immortal empires greatly improved the gameplay. The chaos dwarfs race pack was a great addition to the franchise, although prices were increased it still provided substance.

I still had hope for CA to fix this game but the recent fiasco is the straw that broke the camels back. It is now clear the current management team within CA has no intention to improving the quality of the product, putting minimal effort to keep beating on a malnourished cow to fund its other projects.

I rarely write reviews but the disappointment from one of my favourite gaming franchises being butchered compels me to warn future players and join the community in sending a message to CA to hopefully culminate change in the current leadership.

To me this is far more better than diabloe and dungeon defender and it's free!
