Half of Sunrider is great, half of it is good, and neither half is compleatly finished yet. The art in the visual novel half is good with the standard anime look but it clashes with the art of the space battles, which although interesting and detailed, are done is a compleatly different style.

The visual novel half of sunrider is great with interesting characters and a well told story. However the story is only about 2/3 done and ends on a cliffhanger so if that bothers you perhaps it would be better to wait until the story is compleatly finished sometime this year.

The turn based strategy game half is good but slight balence problems. Battles are strategic and interesting with good weapon variety and challenging battles. The assets used are interesting to look at but audio barks are limited and enemy variety is limited. The game is very difficult, which although mitigated by the difficulty options in the beginning, occationally feels a bit unfair especially in the escort missions.
