EDIT 2: Sony announced today that they would not be moving forward with mandatory account linking, WE DID IT BOIS! Hopefully they reopen sales to those affected regions.

EDIT: Shouldn't force PSN accounts onto people like this, especially if it wasn't required for the game to work. Also, allowing people to buy the game in regions where PSN isn't available, but still requiring it for the game is super scummy Sony.


Original: Fun game to just pick up and play - dynamic battlefield since Joel the Game Master is always keeping the community on its toes. I do wish that the matchmaking was more stable, but I can understand that the scale of the game is way out of what the team originally imagined. Another thing I do wish that they brought over from Helldivers 1 is the weapon customization that unlocked mods for your guns the more you used them. Other than that though, complete fun bringing DEMOCRACY AND LIBERTY TO ALIEN SCUM IN THE NAME OF SUPER EARTH.

Never wrote a review for this, but c'mon, it's Civ V. It's a great TBS game that is a great deal when you get the complete edition (Base + Gods and Kings + Brave New World) when it's on sale, but not worth at full price. With modding, the game changes balances and what not, and it's great. The problem is that one game can take ages, and you'll just stay awake in the middle of the night until the sun comes up telling yourself "just one more turn...".
