If you've ever played "Secret Hitler" or "Town of Salem" this has a very similar vibe, with all of the same intrigue and dissecting everything your friends are saying, but this is an actual video game so the barrier to entry is much lower.

You need a lot of friends to play this game, cause the average internet lobby is garbage.

This game is fun as heck. I had a blast in dumb little side quests with paper thin mechanics (ie, go here, kill 10 people, come back) just because the base mechanics of this game are fantastic. Moving at 300mph and jumping over buildings just feels great.

A fast paced fighting game. Normally not a huge fan of fighting games but the fluidity of the combat makes this a blast.

This game is good. Unlike a lot of puzzle games where you are left feeling like an idiot for not realizing the solution sooner, this game makes you feel like a genius because *you* are the one creating the solution. When you build a factory, it is as much a creative endeavor as it is an intellectual one, and you are pushed to make your factory more elegant.

There are some minor downsides that you get used to fairly quickly. One or two things that are not properly explained. The only *major*downside of this game is the difficulty curve. The first 50% of this game is a smooth ramp up in difficulty and feels very natural. 51% - 90% is a plateu, and you don't feel like it is getting at all more complicated as it goes along. Then the final 10% is an extreme jump that pretends the the last 40% continued to teach you new techniques.

A cute puzzle game. Not all that difficult. There are some buggy things with dual monitors you might need to resolve. Overall though, the physics is fun and the game doesn't overstay its welcome. A fun 5 hours for sure.

Sometimes there are artsy games, and sometimes there are gamey games. Artsy games tend to break the genre, sacrificing what makes a game "fun" to deliver their message. The Stanley Parable, Gone Home, and Dear Esther are all games one would never really describe as "fun and exciting" but are still enjoyable experiences.

Furi attempts to take what is an otherwise fantastic, amazing game with brilliant fight mechanics, stunning visuals, and excellents music, and shoves an artsy game in it with absolutely no grace. The painfully slow walking speed between boss fights that other reviewers have commented on is really only the most obvious of the issues. There are other horrendous design decisions put in place because "art"

Minor spoilers below:

The game encourages you to explore nooks and crannys to unlock voice lines and learn about the lore, but hidden amongst the lore tidbits is a voice line that will delete your save. No warning. This is something that happens exactly halfway through the game as well.

This is a game that abuses the player. Not in a dark souls/ cuphead "it's really hard" sort of way, but rather, there are design decisions made to frustate the player. The devs do not want their game to be enjoyed. Do not buy this game.

Antichamber is one of two must play puzzle games (the other being portal) for the fact that it's mind bending logic puzzles are constantly fresh (I don't think there's a puzzle without a new mechanic) and breaks the mold of a genre that has been stretched quite a bit.
