Lots of fun if you have the determination to "git gud" so to speak.

As much as I typically love games from FromSoftware I can't in good conscious recommend this game in it's current state.

The performance was just too terrible to ignore as soon as I stepped into the Shadow Realm. I normally play on Maximum settings, and up until the DLC area it worked well enough with very few areas of frame drops. However, there is no combination of graphical settings in the game to get the the stuttering to stop in the Shadow Realm. I've tried everything from turning all the settings to lowest, changing individual settings one by one, disabling the fancy stuff, etc, but no dice still stutters.. Maybe someday they will fix this awful lag and I'll actually be able to play through this expansion like I have with every other FromSoft DLC, but based on what I'm seeing in reviews about the story.... maybe this horrible choppiness preventing me from playing is a blessing in disguise..

Game may have been buggy as hell but it was home for a large part of my childhood.
