This is a very realistic slot car racing simulator, complete with a full customization of cars and a track creator.

This is also a rhythm game with multiple songs and modes based on classic 80's tunes.

This is also business management game with a deep learning curve and two modes based on either real estate or customer service.

Oh and I think there was this other part of the game about yakuza turf wars and some kind of coming-of-age story about fighting for what you believe in.

It'd be really weird for a game about slot cars to have that, though, so I might not be remembering right.

It took me 3 versions (PS2, Vita, and now PC) and 5 attempts to finish this game, but after going on to play Persona 5 and coming back I'm glad I finally did. The first 20 or so hours of the game can honestly be quite slow moving and SP management is pretty difficult in the early dungeons. But once you get past that OH MAN does this game get fun and has some of the most memorable characters that'll make you laugh, cry, and smile the whole way through.

Do yourself a favor and play Persona 4 Golden. Don't pass on this game like I did for practically a decade.

Cried so much by the end of Ep. 5 that I worried my wife. 10/10 would emotional roller coaster again.

Great game. Not a masterpiece, but great. Definitely a few bugs, some pacing issues, and inconsistent graphical quality throughout. Also, trying to play Human Revolution on anything higher than 1080p makes the HUD too tiny to even see. With all this in mind, however, the music, gameplay, and dialogue choices easily make up for these faults. Using ReShade can help make this old game look much more modern, too.

Would I put this in my top 10 games? Probably not.
Top 50? Maybe.

For $20 (sometimes on sale as low as $2.99) you could pick a much worse game.

Imagine Romeo and Juliet, but with katana-wielding space robots in short skirts and high heels. Platinum games once again outdid themselves with this wonderful Action RPG/Hack-and-Slash/Bullet Hell/2D Metroid-Vania hybrid that takes bold risks and excels in just about every way.

It's sad that this PC port has a plethora of issues with abandoned support from Squenix. Thankfully the modding community exists, which is the only reason why I can recommend this port at all.

Great game, though, with at least 35-40 hours of gameplay if you play through the whole main story (there's so much more after the first ending/credits roll), then even more with all the side quests available.

Coming from someone who's played and beaten every Monster Hunter since Tri, this is definitely the best Monster Hunter game made so far. So many improvements since MH Generations that make the game far more accessible and, quite honestly for me, more fun.
