It's the realtime strategy game from my childhood.
It has exactly the same charme and looks as the old one, but with more qualty of life improvements and support for modern hardware.

After many years and many tries, firefly has succeeded in giving live to a "new" and fun stronghold game.

If you've played the old Oblivion, you'll feel right at home.
It is the old game - with a few tweaks to game-play and sound-design - in a completely new style.
You can mod it, too. There isn't a store for mods though and also no in-build mod-manager.

If you haven't played the old Oblivion and this is your first time: the base game holds up incredibly well for a 20 year old game.
The story is well written. The characters are voiced nicely - the have gotten a few more than the original - and you'll have a blast playing it.

10/10 would buy again.
