Great concept and fun to play while everything works, but there's a batch of significant issues that eventually stop you from progressing. Upgrading your equipment helps speed things along, but I found I either couldn't upgrade things despite having more than sufficient resources available, or after a set number of upgrades you couldn't use your equipment at all - essentially breaking the game.

Also, I had no sound or music despite those options being selected, and playing the same level layout over and over isn't that great. There's also no game menu which means you have to force-quit to exit (and lose your progress - in fact I'm not even sure there's a save option!). And finally, while it's generally clear what you need to do, a tutorial or at least some sort of explanation about what everything does would have been really useful.

To end on a positive - I love the art style and game play loop, and if the wider issues didn't exist I would otherwise be recommending this game.
