I bought two keys, one for me and one for my gf. Install and test game mechanics. Install on gf PC too.
After I got the hang of the controls, teach gf how to play:

1. Spawns on space station. Releases and waits on the landing pad.
- fined 500 cr -
2. Moves around and I show her the lasers. She fires them.
- fined 100 cr -
... twice
- fined another 100 cr -
3. We decide she's good to go and she plans the economical route to my location
- after three jumps she's almost out of fuel -

- Don't panic, I'll search on the internet...
Found out there's a group of people willing to race to you to provide you fuel.
Took me 10 minutes.
- Oxygen will be depleted in 10 seconds -

*gasping for air*
etc.
3...
2...
1...

DEAD.


10/10 would kill girlfriend indirectly by lack of fuel

Just buy it for what those people said below AND CO-OP MULTIPLAYER with the new free patch don't starve together (which is currently beta)

What more can you say? 4 vs 1 ... humans versus Goliath .. with a twist. Goliath evolves. Use your smarts to trick it into a corner, use the environment and the creatures. "Learn the map" just got trickier.

PS: Teamwork is more than just obligatory.

PPS: Differences in level are a bummer. Unlocking a cooler monster or cooler characters makes leveling up worth it.

PPPS: The downside is that if I want to play as a Monster vs my friends the game doesn't let me * unless I invite them into an already begun game... but after that is over the restriction is back. *
