After 20 hours, I lost my patience.

Quests not working correctly, bugs affecting spawn rates and weapons, terrible writing and a plot thinner than tissue paper.

There is some good here. Being able to drop kick zombies is nice and can be fun, gun play is improved over the first two game, a handful of characters are decently written and likable, and the day/night cycle is ok.

But its not enough. Each playable zone feels smaller than the opening resort area in Dead Island. 90% of the characters are either idiots or just horrible people, and that includes the Slayers.

There was a heart and soul to Dead Island, and even in Riptide, but its missing here. There is too much grind, too many mechanics not given that extra touch, and just a vapid empty shell.

A real shame

Ticks that part of my brain that enjoys games of this type.

Its not a bullet hell game....well it is, only you are the bullet hell.

great multiplayer fun, a definite improvement over the original game (which was very good)

Its a fun kart racer, having been a Sega kid growing up it gave me a nice nostalgic feeling seeing levels based off Afterburner and Golden Axe (with great music to go with them).

Personally I think this game stands on its own merits, along side Mario Kart. I do recomend it.

Only negative thing i think is racing in air mode feels a bit slow, in comparsion to the kart and boat modes, but its not a reason to not enojy it.

there is something relaxing about driving miles accross a fictional Europe. I quite enjoy it
