Don't get me wrong, the lack of mouse support in the menus and the (from what I heard) COMPLETE lack of HOTAS support truly is a disgrace in a game like this.

HOWEVER

I believe there is much more positive to say about this port than negative.

Can we talk about how well this is optimised? Especially after how tragic the console performances were at launch.
I'm playing from a GTX 1050ti and a Xeon 1230 v3 (basically i7 4770) and I'm easily maintaining a constant 55-60 fps on the HIGHEST settings. Now that is some well optimised sh*t right there ladies and gentlemen.

The graphics are really nice. Well.. they aren't mind blowing, but they can be a sight to see at certain moments, especially with the new cloud effects, that weren't present in the older ace combat games.

The controls are basically same as the previous games. Im playing with an Xbox controller with no issues, don't really know much about kb + m controls (but truth be told they sound quite hideous in a game like this)

The music is legendary, truth be told. The nostalgia is the most present in this aspect. It gives me flashbacks from the original Air Combat game from the PSX.

I don't know much about the story yet, I'm still on the early missions.

The multiplayer is unbalanced af but what did we even expect. Just finish the campaign forst to unlock some planes and hop into multiplayer afterwards-

Overall, don't let the negative reviews fool you, 90% of them is because of the lack of HOTAS or mouse support.
This is a great port.

This is such a charming little game I enjoyed almost every minute of it (except the ones where the grappling decided to randomly not work >:( ). The atmosphere is really on the spot, seriously reminds me of a kids tale (as I believe it is supposed to be) with it's goofy looking characters and polished, cartoon like graphics.

The story doesn't seem like it holds much at first, but if you pay attention to a few detailes on certain levels, you may discover that there's a dark reality lying underneath.

And the gameplay is relaxing, yet challenging. You can feel like spiderman, except cooler. Not much else to say.

Overall, I got this for free, but I honestly wouldn't have minded if I had to pay for it. It's worth those ~3 hours of your life.

Bought it for 1$ from PUBG crates.
I can hardly complain.
The track generation is fascinating.
Also, big ups for the youtube integration, it's literally the reason I choose this over Riff Racer.

One of the worst communities i have ever seen. The game itself is fine tho.

I've been playing this game for a while so here is my experience with it.
As you probably know, War Thunder is a Dogfight/Tank battle simulator wannabe. It starts off pretty light, you rush through the first few tiers on each nation as lightning. All this for a nice bait. On the higher tiers, grinding out the new vehicles literally become impossible if you dont pay for premium. And that is sad. This game really has potential but the grinding on high tiers sometimes gets to a ridiculous extent.

My other problem is, yes this is a simulator. Kinda. But it feels sooo unbalanced. For example WW2 tanks matched up with T54s? What? Additionally tanks mostly work one of these ways: you either cant penetrate them at all and they instakill you or you penetrate them like butter and oneshot them. It isnt fun.

Overall
Pros
- Nice graphics (like really)
- High variety of vehicles
- Really gives a feeling of a simulator

Cons
- Unbalance
- Not so much fun
- Grindy as sht on higher levels

If you are looking for a casual game, and you dont plan on spending all your time with it, dont pick this up, it might look appealing, but it's gonna disappoint you when you get into it more.

I downloaded this game from steam when it was free. After a bit of gameplay experience, the thing I want to say about this game is the following:

This is a really simple game, simplistic graphics, not too complex gameplay. You are controlling an aircraft which is powered by sunlight. You constantly have to follow the sun to keep you powered up and what that means basically is you have to fly through different terrain at extremely high speed without crashing. Sounds easy right? It actually is quite an easy and relaxing game. The graphics are simple but that doesnt mean they are not nice. They are minimalistic. And the game has a great soundtrack. And the whole atmosphere gives a kind of "after humanity" feeling. The controls are easy and the map is changing every 24 hours so you wont get bored of it easily. Unless you find the gameplay itself boring. And there are also quite an amount of challenges up to date.

Overall (I want to start with the cons)
Cons:
- The gameplay might be too simple for some people
- Can get repetitive
- All challenges can be accomplished in around a day

Pros:
- I find the graphics (personally) satisfying
- Relaxing gameplay
- The game has a unique feeling
- Nice atmosphere
- Even if you run out of in game challenges, steam achievements will keep you fresh
- 24 hrs changing map
- Easy to do, hard to master
- The overall concept is great and it works

I would definitely recommend at least giving a shot to this game if you want something relaxing yet challenging in your inventory.

Picked this game up on a steam sale. I didnt have high expectations, and it seriously hit me with a surprise. See, when you turn Beat Hazard on to play a game of it, you shoudn't expect highly complex gameplay, or intense story. In fact it doesn't even have a story, you are controlling a spaceship, and you have to shoot asteroids and other spaceships from a top view perspective, just like the old arcade games. What makes Beat Hazard special is, all of this is happening to music. Your chosen music.

When you start up Beat Hazard, the thing you should expect is crazyness. You shouldn't search sense, just shoot and enjoy the music that you chose for your shooting. The visualizer really gives you that "crazyness" feeling, and the rate of the incoming enemies is also somewhat related to the tempo of your music.

I mean... This game has a powerup that literally just pumps your music volume up... What do you expect then?

And I recommend playing with maximum intensity visualizer for extreme "crazyness". Of course if you are sensitive for that kind of thing, be careful.

Overall:
Pros:
-FUN AS HELL
-works quite well as a rhythm game (kinda)
-really nice visualizer
-more fun

Cons:
-it can easily get repetitive after a while
-without the DLCs, it's basically an overpriced demo

Definitely recommend picking it up at least on a steam sale, but be sure to get the DLCs too.
