You know what? I take my words back. As for now, there is really no sense in playing this game. In current state there is only two possible scenarios: after first 5 seconds of the match you see someone is leading, and this person will always win. Only difference is that it can be you or not. Speed is only matter. Losing because of mistakes is impossible, or your typing skills have to be completely screwed up.

There are always will be a lot of babies crying about VT3, but ya know what? No enough ratmen slaught in VT2 yet!

Do I recommend the game? Yes. Is the game good enough to deserve a positive review? Not quite...

Horrendous optimization (even worse than VT2); no solo play whatsoever, plus the requirement to squad up in a pre-made group for certain achievements; downright ugly player characters — and to those justifying this with the setting: the 40k universe allows for grim, distinctive flaws, but not absurdly ugly designs for characters supposedly marginally above the hive’s lowest depths (even with the most questionable backstories). They should have grim, lore-accurate flaws like scars or augmetics, not look like walking lumps of decayed wood — while still retaining the setting’s visual grit.

The positives? A decent weapon upgrade system (especially compared to VT2); solid build-crafting potential; great visuals and excellent sound design, particularly the ambient audio. But all this isn’t enough to overshadow the glaring flaws of the game, no matter how much you might want to ignore them.

With update of 15 players instead of 12 in a match, and so - 5 squads instead of 4, you and your team can wipe 3 teams, and then the last one will just sneak into your back and finish you. Then you go into discussions and there are little sluts calling everyone who doesn't like the update "whiners".
