One of, if not the only truly creative and fun AAA racing game from the 2020s. True dirt series fans who followed it through its fictionalisation and love the classic Codemasters style will love this game - it is not for rally purists and judgemental people who love to check off their premade AAA hate list. If you want a rally sim, Codemasters made a spinoff series called "Dirt Rally", move over there and stop complaining.

I bought this game a long time ago when it was semi-new and not as patched, I was also looking for another reason to judge new games and didn't give it a proper chance, only sinking 2 and a half hours into it like most negative reviews did - but come back to this and progress more, take time to learn the many (albeit initially overwhelming) features and you will have a blast.

Taking what they did with Dirt 2, 3 and Showdown, Codemasters cranks up their original dirt flair to the max with gorgeous graphics, fun soundtrack, unique car list, and top-tier audio work.

This has become my favourite in a series I hold dear to my heart, and I never saw it coming.

Get it before it's gone!

Downloaded on an SSD, still runs extremely bad for my mid level PC. Even putting it on low and lowering resolution to an ugly level makes it still run terribly.

Great graphics, sound, damage physics, fun event types, lots of varied vehicles, cool mods and great DLC. BUY THIS! Its rare to find racing games this good these days.

Not a ridge racer game. Which is why its great. The physics feel fun, the visual style is awesome, graphics look great for the time and the gameplay and destruction is really unique and fun! I love this games level editor, I used to spend hours in it when I had the game on PS3, get it while you still can!
