An absolutely fantastic remake and a beautiful glimpse of the bygone era of both games and game design. This is the type of game they're talking about when they say "They don't make them like they used to" and they are absolutely correct. The atmosphere and the lack of hand-holding is what truly makes it for me. System Shock just trusts the player that they will find their way, through immaculate level design and enemy encounters to carefully placed objectives. This is the only game where I find myself writing what I need to do next on a piece of paper. Thank you Nightdive Studios for this gem.

Outer Wilds encapsulates why video games should be regarded as an art form no less than books, music, films, and other media. This piece of art utilizes every facet of the interactivity that video games provide to give the players a journey that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.

To me, Outer Wilds has given me an intriguing universe to explore, with its genius design where the power-ups are not items or stat boosts, but rather it's my own knowledge about the various planets that I gained through organic exploration. What will stick with me the most is the ending, and how beautifully it wraps the whole thing together. Please play this game, because there's literally nothing else like it.

Actually one of the best games ever made, with its diverse roster of survivors that has their own distinct play styles and hundreds of items that mostly synergies with one another. What I personally love about this game is that it just lets you break it with no limits on item count or the difficulty scaling itself. In a weird way, this game is a sandbox where the player races against time to determine how much the player can break the game. All of that accompanied by one of gaming's most memorable soundtracks, this game redefines the rougelike genre.

the pinnacle of western RPGs. i love how the DLCs are interconnected with one another and how it directly ties-in with the main story. however, there is quite a bit of jank and you need numerous mods (Viva New Vegas) to even get it running on modern machines, but this is an experience unlike any other.
