Early Access Review
Substantially disappointing and massively worsened now in April of 2025 compared to initial launch, profoundly slow and brutally unfun experience compared to PoE1.

Wouldn't care as much as I do if it hadn't explicitly reduced the development effort going into PoE 1 leagues which is the most tragic aspect of how disappointing PoE 2 ended up being.

Considering the small team behind this game it's incredible they made an indie game thats as engaging and detailed as this game is.

Lots of technical issues, bad design choices, and a less than engaging story hold back a world/premise that could have been a lot more satisfying to play through.

Not really worth 60 bucks but if it's ever on sale in the 35-40 dollar range worth checking out.

Much less enjoyable and comprehensible than Civ 5, actions are much more chaotic and the game is more ... painful to play with too many minute characteristics that dont do anything other than stop you from progressing
