I give them credit for having co-op online mode (although I couldn't get it working). I couldn't quite get into the gameplay loop, which seemed slow and grind-heavy at the start. The game seemed like it really needed a Save + Quit feature and a Resume. I know there were checkpoints, but it all seemed a bit clunky.

I've played this on and off since release. It doesn't get old. Even though the sector of space that you explore is randomly generated, there are usually viable tactics each time to maximize your score.

This is a fun little clicker game where you create units that collect resources and then you convert the resources into different resources or into more units. It is possible to get into a bottleneck situation, where the grind becomes too slow. While you can minimize the game and wait a couple of hours, you can also end your run through the Prestige option, which gives you some fairly powerful bonuses to start a new game with (which will speed you through the early game).

In my playthroughs, I found that certain strategies were far better than the alternatives for each of the endgame stages. So it might not have the flexibility as something like FTL.

There's is something here for everyone. I would recommend trying out each game individually. After getting a blind feel for the game, then look up a guide.

The main attack (a shotgun) has a satisfying feel to it, especially once you get the hang of its spread (the upgrades help) and its reload time. The art style is alright, but it probably could look a bit more coherent (mainly the graveyard ghosts that seem to have more advanced effects than the other pixel art characters). A fun little Zelda-like.

A fun casual puzzle game. Counting and doing basic addition, subtraction, and DIVISION helps, but for me I used trial and error on many of the levels.

This is a weird and creepy little visual novel with some first person exploration sections. It is very minimalist in the interaction and choices.

Monochrome filters are applied over both the 2D and 3D sections of the game and tie together the visual style. Some of the 2D art might be AI generated, but I think it is just cohesive enough to work with the story (which involves a lot of internal monologue).

Some quality of life improvements that ought to be mad include changing the font / background color of text boxes depending on who is speaking and having a button for going back if you missed a piece of dialogue.

A fun little, relaxing puzzle game with chibi style blocks. The player character moves on a grid with neither timing nor speed being important at all. On some of the longer levels you might wish there was a mid-level check point or autosave, but it's mostly not a hassle since once you know what you are doing you can usually repeat your actions with a minute or two. So go ahead and turn your keyboard at least 15 degrees and enjoy this isometric puzzler.
