To be honest, I don't even know how to start this review. Suicide Squad is a hard game to talk about as it seems it become the gaming worlds punching bag so any discourse around this game is very toxic.

Is this game a 10/10 game you should absolutely be rushing out to play? - no, but its a perfectly great looter-shooter similar to Borderlands than anything else it'll be compared to.

The story was a lot of fun, yes they kill Arkham Batman and that sucks but people saying its not "Lore-accurate" is cringe as ♥♥♥♥. Literally anything that isn't a main line comic is non-canon, I'd rather Rocksteady take a swing and tell an original story that just copy and paste from comics.

Go in with an open-mind, you'll probably have a great time.

And in the interest of being honest, I worry the End-game will get repetitive if they don't add to it but the loot is pretty sick.

so yes, I dunno numbers are hard 7 out of 10 or something?

[Full Disclosure: I was prompted to write this review by the recent #DeadByBoycott]

DBD is a game that I've played on and off since Beta. I've played a ton of both PC and PS4. Before I continue, I've got to say I love this game. I stream it regularly, I've met most of my good friends through it. It holds a very special place in my heart but having said all this I could not recommend this game to anyone.

The 2 biggest issues in my opinion are the "The Grind" & "Game Health".

The Grind
To put it simply, you will have to spend obscene amounts to get anywhere close to a workable builds for the characters you wanna play. The game has just continued to bloat and bloat to a point where new players are faced with a brick wall. To give you a little idea, I've spent 1000 hours on the PC game, I mainly play killer and in that time, I have 2 killers P3 with builds that enjoy.

I know no other game where you can spend such a huge amount of time and feel like you've accomplished so little.

Game Health
While, your spending your time making awfully slow progress towards your preferred character, you will be dealing with a very unhealthy game. If anyone is familiar with Destiny and how long it takes Bungie to roll out fixes - if you found this terrible, you will hate this Game. BHVR near every patch break more things and it is never a quick turnaround.

They've released killers broken and fixed them nearly a year later. Audio & Visual bugs are common place and to say where 5 years in it doesn't feel like things are getting better.

This is simply my view and opinion and should not be taken as fact but BHVR have a "Work when you wanna work" policy and I cant help but think this is why everything feels so lazy.

In Closing
I love this game and I would love for you to love it too but you won't. You'll work for hours to get anywhere in this game where it feels like its falling to pieces.

I'll update my review if these things change, until then. - pray for me.
