Very enjoyable game overall, simple concept but its executed well, simple story but has some interesting characters, and overall good sounds.

Visually very appealing, game itself is not difficult only took me 7 hrs to fully complete and I came in not knowing anything about it, but I have to admit it was still a very enjoyable experience.

This is a game I will definitely be re-playing for some time to come.

One of the best games I've ever played. Amazing graphics, a storyline worth playing, and characters you actually have genuine concern for. I need to take time and play this game through again it was really a great experience.

I recommend this to anyone who can play it, I imagine it could be difficult to run for some cheaper PCs. Definitely make sure you can run it on good settings for the best experience possible.

Some aspects of the game have been improved, less stupid animations that are uncontrollable, and it's actually possible to play consistent defense this year.

However, miniscule improvements do not make up for major issues that haven't been resolved for years such as:

Same server issues we've had since 2k15, with no effort to fix them.
Certain players having broken animations that will rarely miss.
The Hall of Fame difficulty lacking realism/scripting MyCareer Games to make it nearly impossible to win certain games.
MyTeam still pay to win, not much extra reward for grinding the mode,
And when they finally have a good mode that rewards people, Triple Threat, they lower all rewards to stop people from grinding it too hard. genius.

This was my last chance with a 2k, I will still be playing it this year since I paid full price for it. But I'm not impressed by any means, and will need to see some major improvement before I buy again.

Trash game. Pay to win, animations win you the game no matter what. Play smart, miss open shots. Charge at the rim and hold X, win. This was my last chance at a 2k game, not worth $10.

100% worth the money paid. Beautiful handrawn world, simple but great sounds, movement is very fluid once you get used to it. Only negative people could give it is the combat can be fairly boring, personally I don't mind in games like this, but some do.

8.5/10, well worth it.
