one of the best RPGs in the recent years; it's polished, it's got loads of content, it looks and plays satisfying, its lotting/grinding mechanic is addicting as hell. love it.

Escape Simulator 2 takes everything that made the original great and amplifies it with stunning visuals, enhanced puzzles, and a more immersive experience. The improved gameplay mechanics, smooth UI, and creative environments highlight the increased budget.

Overall a great game with great visuals, mechanics, engine, and optimization, but a freaking regular network spikes makes it really hard to enjoy the game. I tried switching servers, restarting the game from checkpoint, or reloading altogether to get one lucky pass from an inconsistent connection, just to have it reset on the next loading screen (whether it's a death or the next location) is incredibly frustrating and kills all desire to play the game.
I seriously considered buying it after trying it during the free weekend, but now I'll have to pass.
