Excellent cost to content ratio, especially if gotten on sale. Puzzles range from done in seconds to hour+ slogs in the end game. My biggest issue with the game is that some of the puzzles get to big to be displayed at a reasonable size, so you have to choose between pixel perfect mouse placement, or having the instructions around the side hidden until you mouse over them. Still this is only an issue in the final 5% of the game, and one I'm willing to overlook for the asking price.

2024 GOTY

A game I want to love (and have tried to multiple times) but overall a let down. The music, atmosphere, environment, and art are all fantastic. The building is also a stand out feature.

The Gameplay, Combat, Story, and Mining all are shockingly un-fun, which turns what should be an excellent co-op sandbox into a grind-fest at best, an just plain unpleasant to interact with at it's worst.

The Game tries very hard to be terraria, but with useful villagers. Unfortunately not only fails to live up to each aspect it apes from it's inspiration, It doesn't make the villagers useful. Which is a damn shame, because it's always just shy of being enjoyable (which in a way makes it worse; constantly being reminded that the game could be quite good is not an enjoyable experience).

That's not to say the game is all negatives - the sorting system is zany, if clunky; the explorer npc is great, the raids and multiple settlements are quite well handled, and the bosses are quite well done. Unfortunately the downsides really don't allow the good to shine through.

A game that facilitates shenanigans.
The lethal part is the ladders, and the company is just some guy named Jeb.
Good game. Got eaten/10, would play again.
