Your choices don't really matter in a meaningful way, the overall plot isn't very engaging and the main villain is a big disappointment, BUT! the moment to moment interactions with each character is what carries this game.

Following Robert as he grows as a person and builds up his team with him is where the game shines the most. The banter and heart to heart conversations are amazing. I really felt for the characters. Not all characters are created equal but they all ended up growing on me by the end.

I really don't want to support adding internet personalities and "game journalists" into games for publicity but I am also extremely biased and was delighted to find out prolific actor, director and animator Joel Haver was in this game and Waterboy quickly became my favorite. Even Jacksepticeye I think did a great job and I wouldn't have realized it was him if I wasn't told or looked it up (granted while I am familiar with him I never really watched his content).
The biggest Stinker was Moist Critical, who's voice was immediately recognizable (despite also not really watching his content) and took me out of the game every time I heard him. Luckily you can minimize his presence in the game with certain choices.

I'm on the fence with the minigames and the "Dispatch" part of this game. I don't like the chance based aspect of it too much, but I'd say overall it worked well with the narrative of the story. Again it feels really good watching your team grow and go from barely scraping by, to coming together as a team, to pushing those bonds to the limit as you operate under tense situations. I do wish there was an option to skip the minigames on subsequent playthroughs and you could just go through the story.

A single playthrough will last you about 10hrs, so pay whatever you think that is worth as for me a second playthrough is not likely. The second playthrough of a TellTale like game never hits as hard as the first when you realize the illusion of choice.

Is this game outdated? Yes. Are there better RPGs out there? Also yes. But there just isn't anything quite like Skyrim even today.
There are tons of mods to customize this game into almost anything you want, but I'd argue that even playing Vanilla has it's own merits. Getting lost in the world, exploring and stumbling across quests is a fun and unique experience with its simplicity.
No single aspect is particularly exemplary and I'd even say they are pretty basic, but the whole is definitely greater than the sum of the parts when it comes to Skyrim.
It's just a shame that I doubt we can expect anything like this from Bethesda.

The gameplay never quite feels like you are a Space Marine. Dodge rolling and everything just doesn't feel good. Regaining shield/armor on executions feels way worse than the first game where it regained your health.

That and it's just way too grindy. Even the items you pay real money for you still have to grind for them! I just want to play dress up and I'm met with tree after tree of things I need to grind currency for.
Why do I need to buy a color multiple times for main, secondary and trim? Why are the left and right symbols different? This game just feels like it's wasting your time at every opportunity it can.

It really sucks because this could have been a fun game, and I did have fun with it playing coop missions early on and even the PVP. The grind is just too much to play casually.

It's an alright game, it's just nothing in it is particularly interesting or exciting.

I should have played the demo. Heard some good things about it but 10 minutes into the game was enough to know I never want to touch the control scheme again.
