It is quite obvious that Namco doesn't care about their core audience anymore. They blatantly lied to our faces, calling this a 'defensive patch'. They force new systems upon us that NOBODY asked for, only adding to the already rather suffocating heat mechanic. They're slowly phasing out any resemblance of self- and skill-expression, character identity, risk management. Just run in and roll the dice hoping you'll win.

It pains me having to leave a negative review for a legacy series I've had tons of respect for. There's is still so much to like about Tekken, but it's hard to watch this series slowly getting dissected by short-sighted devs.

Tekken is still the only high production 3D fighter out there, and it is in dire need of some proper competition before it eats itself from the inside out.

I've played TF2 on and off for about 15 years. I've experienced the highs and lows of the numerous updates this game has seen over the years. I was there when the Scout update was the new hot thing. I endured the aftermath of Meet your Match update. I was there when Jungle Inferno dropped. Never in my life have I seen a game, let alone a piece of software, be so neglected and still make money. If it wasn't for the game's awesome community servers, I would've stopped playing years ago. The repercussions of Valve's continued negligence will only spread to their other games in due time.
