A bit too drawn out. While I understand the need to have dialogs, diary entries and logs, couple of hours into the game going through them starts feeling more like a chore and less like exploration for the sake of world-building. The maps that host the levels are at moments a bit too unnecessarily large and convoluted, while at the same time providing the player with braindead navigational compass at the top of the screen, something that greatly affects the sense of exploration and numbs the player's perception of the level.
Please, just let Bethesda style dialogs rot locked away in their games.

Even with all that this is still an amazing game, but personally 1 was better.

On release it was quite possible the worst competitive game I have ever played. After season 2 and one billion steps in the retarded direction, it can hardly be considered competitive anymore. It's still decent if you are mega casual, but if your fun comes from progress, overcoming obstacles while getting better at the game and getting rewarded for it - this is probably the worst option you have.
In my opinion this is important to know only because the game is generally perceived as deep and competitive, and since release of Tekken 8 this is no longer the case.
