Before you start playing Bioshock 2, i suggest you go into these particular files to fix the cause for Crashes in the game, and sensitivity issues to make your gameplay the most smoothest

Fix for Crashing, caused by a VRAM texturestreaming leak within the game. The fix is to set it to either a bit lower than your max VRAM or to set it to your max VRAM. Locate to: AppData/Roaming/BioshockHD/Bioshock2/Bioshock2SP.ini
TextureStreamingMemoryLimit=24000.000000

Fix for mouse sensitivity issues. The game has a wierd issue with sensitivy, putting this command in the section where you move forward the first time will fix the issue. Locate to: AppData/Roaming/BioshockHD/Bioshock/User.ini
[Default]
W=MoveForward | set Engine.PlayerInput MouseAccelThreshold 0.0 | set Engine.PlayerInput MouseSmoothingMode 0

Bioshock 2:

Bioshock 2 follows closely after Bioshock, promising to improve upon what made the first game good by improving upon it while failing in other places where the first game nailed that better. However, as many others have noticed, this game is plagued by Extreme crashes that can happen at most at random place in the game that may hinder the gameplay experience. There's also a lot of grapichal bugs and audio issues that hinder the experience a bit, than what the remaster offers.

Story wise the second game does it worse than the first game, setting you to be a Big Daddy to rescue the daughter of the Big Daddy putting you throughout various different new facilities in Rapture, however it doesnt particuarly inivate much and does not have much of a twist as the first game had to compel you to play the game to the end

The combat improves a lot upon what Bioshock 1 did right, by amplifying that by 10x and doing it better, such as amplifying the plasmoids by giving them new abilities upon their usage, new upgrades that change the way the weapon you've used is being used and new sets of ammunition to improve the way certain weapons work. There's even now a quick headbutt for weapons that you can use with every weapon so you won't need to switch to your meele weapon. However there are still Meelee only perks and some new ones for those who only want to play with the Meele weapon.
The graphical upgrades such as vibrate blood splats and ragdolling is more apparent in the sequel with the new combat mechanics

Something however that has made the combat worse is the fact that they removed the weapon wheel, making it a lot more difficult to navigate your weapons in time in high tense situations

The Research mechanic is now less rewarding than it was in the first game but more difficult to do, as to get the full research of Splicers, you must first take a picture of them, reel them like a camera, then take them out in order to get the research. You can no longer efficently just kill a splicer and research them that way.

Compared to the first game, hacking is more comfortable and relaxed but less stress punctuated towards the reward you are getting by doing hacking. Before as Vaults we're very difficult and timed accessed rewards, they can now be unlocked way more comfortably with the new system. The new hacking tool you unlock early in the game also has a new auto hacking dart, that makes most hacking situations particuarly useless. The fallback to this, is that items are now more scarce, and you can only carry a certain amount of items, than what you could before

The we're a few things i did not personally like with Bioshock 2, but im gonna list two of them. the Big Sister Random Encounters, you can't prepare for them, they happen mostly when you rescue or harvest a little sister, and if you die, they will contiune to follow you to the respawn tanks where you could be camped and won't stop til you take them out.

They reduced the max carry wieght of Health Kits and EVE from 10 to 5, and can be ugraded to 6, which considiring you are a big hulk of a man in a suit rather than a normal man in a sweeter, it is quite a downgrade. You are also more vulnarable this time, and it is easier for you to do even at the lower difficulties.

Bioshock 1 lives up to its legacy as one of the best games of all time

Itself game defining, it diverses itself from a lot of other Story Rich singleplayer FPS'es with its Plasmoids system of giving you perks found throughout the game to enhance the the experience for the player by giving them additional effects on the player

Set in the 1960's alongside as the player finds themself thrown into the sea by a plane crash, they quickly finds themself escorted to the underwater city of Rapture, there they find themself entangled in a Civil War that has been raging on for quite a while. From there you are contacted by a mysterious person who guides you through the city in order to escape it

With tons of Plasmoids unlocks, weapon upgrades, perks, achievements and puzzles you can see to find yourself to spend some time playing Bioshock 1 for a while until you reach the end of the game

Before you start playing the game, go into the Steam directory of the game, open the properties of the .exe launcher of the game and disable full screen optimization for the game. Also very important, turn off GPU Physx to off. During Combat missions your FPS can drop as low as 35 fps from something like 300 fps because of a bug.

Mafia 2 is a cultural phenoman which has earned its reputation well, even now 15 years later as of writing this review, it still holds up on the massive amounts of small details that we're put into the game in order to create the world they did for Mafia 2.
Set in different periods between before WW2, during and after during the early Post-war years, you follow Vito, a man which sees to thrive to live a criminal life, teaming up with his best pal Joe to garner their place in the Mafia within the Family.

Undoubtedly the most detailed Mafia game, early on you get the feeling for what the setting is with all the scripted events in the game, to things like having the ability to turn of the light in the building with a switch. 2K really did get into the smallest of details when creating the game. Things like getting caught by cops and losing the level depends on what you do, what clothes you we're wearing and what car you we're driving is a very advanced system for its time.
The game keeps the same story phasing as the first game making you go through a set of task before you end the day by sleeping at your apartment (going to the next chapter)

There is nothing really bad about the game, but if you are used to the shoulder type of shooting that came with Mafia 3, the Mafia Remake and The Old Country, then you won't exactly enjoy the gunplay here.

Overall a 10/10 game deserving of a long lasting legacy.

Mods i used during my gamethrough:
- No-Intro (Skip Startup - Splash Videos)

Before you start playing the game, go into the Steam directory of the game, open the properties of the .exe launcher of the game and disable full screen optimization for the game. The remake will enforce a 60fps lock on the game unless you tick this option. You will notice a big difference in smoothness
There is also a lot of blur due to TAA and another upscaling technologies, try turning Anti Aliasing down to Low

A Remake of Mafia 1 from 2002, it shines itself in Classy Gangster Story set between the Prohibition Era and the year prior to WW2. The Remake plays a lot more like Mafia 3, and while not being as ambiguous as that game was, it shines it in straight forward mission, time of of gameplay and setting which they have nailed.
Starting in the late 1920's you'll experience a series of events between a gang which attempts to assert themself over the fictional city of Lost Heaven, between a man who has to balance between his family and the criminal life.

The game reflects a lot on morality, while lacking in choice it gives a very good story that you can play on with just within a few days on and off. Time is reflected in the game well with its setting, the longer you play the more the cars change to represent the time for example.

However that's not to say there is just good things with the remake of Mafia 1. Cutscenes sometimes do not play Audio which can the immersion a lot before it returns when you start playing. The game is overall blurry, as most modern games has become due to the heavy usage of upscaling technologies. Not only that but during cutscenes, the game uses an extreme amount of resources to play the cutscenes even if they are paused, which should signify a leak.
The intro before starting the game is unskippable, and so is the nearly 15 min long credits list at the end of the game, so that can be a drag to have to play through if you are going to open and close the game often. Movement can also feel a bit sluggish, but it was designed in such a way to make it more natural between the mechanics in the game

But overall it is a very solid good game for both newcomers and returning fans of the franchise.

Drag & Drop mods I used for the duration of the game:

- Better Reticles

- FPS lock changer and more FOV options

A TF2 mod that degrades Team Fortress 2 by removing 15 years worth of content that improved the game, back to a state where it lacks a lot that that makes modern good. like damage sounds and viewmodel changes. This is a very pointless mod as most of this can be done with server plugins and Vscript in TF2.

If you truly want a rewarding experience of what TF2 instead could have been like, then you should play Team Fortress 2: Classic. Which infact unlike this mod adds new content upon the 2008 setting.
