I normally don't enjoy extraction shooters for various reasons. This one though is pure cinema. I'm honestly shocked at how big the difference in the community is when playing solo vs squads. Solo is a more respectable less degenerate experience while squads is anything goes. The only thing I could give feedback on is the loop for the loot/crafting/upgrade system doesn't quite scratch that itch for me. I've often found myself with items that don't really contribute to current options beyond breaking down for basic components, the loot tables also seem to be a bit too big. I fully acknowledge that any drop chance gripes could be chalked up to RNG which is totally fine. Regardless, this game is a must play.

I booted up the game and was immediately transported back to the early 2000s... That's also the problem though. They made no attempt to modernize any systems. Its almost as if they took the modded version of the already released games and repackaged them as a re-release. The servers are also terrible.

I went into this game wanting to be disappointed, especially after the release of AAA title games over the past few years. I am pleased to say that Larian has made the perfect balance between TTRPG and Turned Based Strategy Game. I truly feel immersed in the world and believe that my actions do in fact have consequences. The only negatives I have experienced in my almost 200 hours in game stem from the impact the game has on my mid tier PC. After a few hours in game I get noticeable frame rate drops especially when loading conversations. These are usually fixed with a quick restart of the PC. If you enjoy Dungeons and Dragons or have a small interest in it, I cannot recommend Baldur's Gate 3 enough.

Great time sink. Highly recommend once you get in game.

Valve has out done themselves with this cartoony fps with a humerous quality to it, I would recommend that you not only get your friends to play this but force your mother to pick a class and kick some a$$!
