Already a lot in common with ProjectZ. Shows a lot of promise, especially with EA being released less than a month ago. Looking forward to what comes in store!

So far:
  • Gameplay is slow paced but really engaging for me
  • The atmosphere feels very immersive
  • Bought the game within 2 minutes of release (I never do this)
  • Feels just like the classic games we've all loved over the years
  • No bugs that I've run into

    Oh and there's no microtransactions!

This game is great and shows what can happen when one person really cares and has the passion for their project!

Haven't really played much lately, but all my hours are from launch and I can say, I enjoyed having a Twin Turbo v12 Jeep Willis you can't control winning every race I went into.

Just want to go on record to say that this is the FIRST GAME IN YEARS that gave me goosebumps, surprised me, peaked my curiosity, and brought about pretty much every human emotion someone can have.

I got and played the 'hell' out of the originals back when they came out as a kid for Christmas presents, both this realistic version on the Xbox360 and the stylized version on the original Wii, gotten 100% multiple times on both, and dumped hundreds of hours on both back in the day. I've always been a Ghostbusters fan and loved these games with a passion, coming back to it when I was bored or looking for something to do.

Go to 2017, I re-bought the original as one of my first paid games on Steam, having to track down a key to redeem on steam just to play it 'one more time' thinking it was just going to be a nostalgia trip and that the game wasn't going to be as good as I remembered, boy was I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrong. Looking at it purely from a gameplay standpoint and ignoring all nostalgia factors, the game still held up. Graphics were a little dated, sound was as compressed as you'd expect from an early 2000's game, but the gameplay and story still stand up to this day.

Got the remastered a week after it came out, and I play it the most. Mainly just due to the slightly upgraded engine and higher frame-rate. The graphics look mostly the same a little updated, audio is the about same, cutscenes are still dated with stiff animations and lip syncing, but it's still an amazing game. Everything good from the original game is still here. There are a few bugs I ran into, but only a 'small' amount you'd expect from a good console port. I can only remember a couple small non game-breaking ones. If you're a Ghostbusters fan, or even just want a shorter action story game, this is the one for you. 24 bucks seems a little overpriced, but not by very much at all if anything. Pick it up, give it a try, I guarantee you'll enjoy it.

P.S.
The original actors were those to write and voice the game. The original cast; Dan, Harold, Ernie, and Bill either wrote, produced, or had influence in the development of the game in some way. This game is the idea of what Dan and Harold wanted for the 3rd movie. See the behind the scenes of the game and you'll see what I'm referencing with Dan getting interviewed.
