Good stuff! :)

This game is worth both your time and your money IMO.I find it has excellent graphics, for a game in this genre. It's good survival, base-building, gameplay with an intutive user interface and a cool SiFi theme.Many have compared this to Rimworld, but to be honest it's not as evolved or complicated as RW yet. However, what's in the game right now, is working almost perfectly and I don't really feel like anything is "amiss".There's room for improvement however, and I hope in the future they'll add more stuff, and that they'll also keep being inspired by the good stuff RW already has, since they've been very good at taking it and making it their own.

This is a business sim where you play the role of a young arms factory owner who inherited what remains of the business from his late father.

- You can choose to start in several countries around the world and that will be your main base of operations. Later on you can buy plots of land in other countries and build a factory there.
- To earn money you buy raw materials from the global market, setup production lines and sell final products to fulfill orders from several buyers (e.g.: CIA, the Military, FBI, the Police or even some shady organizations).
- To craft something you need to have recipes. You start the game with just a few and need a research lab to get more, along with other useful stuff for you factory.

As of today they added actual building to the game! You can place walls, add new building inside your plot of land and define areas where you want to place production lines, offices and labs. This is only the beginning... more great new content is coming in the next months.

BTW, I experienced no bugs whatsoever and for me the game is very stable (but the experience may change for you). i've read about some people who experienced some slow-downs when producing bullets (but I think the devs said they've fixed it).

You can easily play for hours on the current version and if you like business sims (with a twist) this is the right game for you. Also IMO you should support these developers since they seem dedicated and passionate about their game.

I'll update my review as new content comes along, but for now (Dec 2020) I say you should buy this!

It's getting better and the potential is there... I'm giving a thumbs up just for that.

I normally don't buy DLCs because once I've "completed" a game I feel like I'm done with it.

Well, this is one of the few games in my library I felt I HAD to buy a DLC for and after playing with some of the additional content I can't say I'm disappointed.

There's some kind of "this is real life" vibe in the challenges that those people have to endure that makes me immerse in the game and care for those little folks down there.

As for the game mechanics, they are excellent: you're always struggling gathering enough food, wood, coal, metal and then you need to decide if it's better to build now or use those few resources to further advance in research. Do I have enough people to do this? Will everyone get sick or can they keep going for another day? After all of this, when you think you got it all, the storm arrives and you're in trouble again!

There's not even need to write something: everybody knows how great Rimworld is.
Just wanted to add my tiny thumbs up to the millions that were already given... :-]

This Tower Defense game is still very early in development, but I can already see the potential and the basics of a TD game are all there.

This TD game is unique for two reasons:
1) The setting, which is very dark (you actually fight against the darkness) with a mix of tech + magic.
2) The story: you have to find knowledge "pieces" inside the dungeon while defending your portal. Later you can upgrade your "skills" tree with what you found (note: this part is still in development)

The dev is very responsive to feedback but the updates are not so regular (depends on dev personal stuff from what I gather), even though he surprised me releasing a patch with new content just ONE day after I gave him feedback!

So all in all it's a thumbs up for me.

Those little guys are way, way smarter than me! O_o

This game is smarter too... I bought it to become smarter myself, but I don't know if it worked. Maybe a bit.

So, in short, buy this game and you'll become smarter... like me... no, not like me... much, much better!

The absolute pleasure of combat... no other game delivers it like ME:SoW! :-]
