without the patch you don't even see the character portraits in game (see the images on the store page). This is a good turn based RPG, but the English translation is often inaccurate

Short, but fun and decently written. The colors are a bit drab since it's mostly black-white-grey, but there's good pixel art all over the game.

Little Witch Nobeta is a 3D action game where you aim magic spells at enemies while whacking them with your staff and dodging their blows. There are a handful of platforming sections too, but nothing too difficult. The boss fights in this game are a fair challenge even on the Normal difficulty. (Normal is the highest difficulty you can choose at the moment). The game is well-balanced and rewards exploration, and Nobeta is cute as a button. It's in EA, but I recommend checking it out.

Kreisreise is not for the soft. When you play the game without being accustomed to fast-paced action gameplay, it will engulf you and spit out the bones. It has a handful of cheap moments (with leaps of faith over spike pits) and the rotary view can be disorienting, but it's a rewarding game to those who want a "Metroidvania" that plays like a true test of skill.

how this made me feel

This game is horrible. It's pretty much bad game design 101 here's why:

- No indication of where roads lead
- No hint to what enemies are weak to
- No hint of when enemies are alone or in groups
- No warning to avoid status effects
- No warning when you're soaked in water
- No clue to which items are masterworks

I don't know how people defend this.
