Chrono Gear is an amazing indie game that feels like a mix of Megaman X with Sonic level design and a crazy plot. I played the demo a before the final release and though It was okay, but the final version is way better.

Here are the stuff I liked about the game:
- Amazing pixel art and animations
- The gameplay is really fun and easy to get undestand
- The plot is surprisingly interesting and serious
- Hearing Kronii's voice ingame is kinda funny for some reason

Here are some stuff I didn't like, It is all minor
- Some levels are too long, specially near the end
- I hate the maze level
- The game has some small bugs, like the music preview no working and weird hitboxes

tl;dr: Amazing action platform, you should play even if you don't know the vtubers in the game

Final Fantasy Tactics was already amazing on the PS1, this version makes It even better.

About the game:
FFT is an amazing Tactical RPG, with a really fun class system and a really creative bravery/faith mechanic.
The plot is really interesting with a bunch of interesting characters and relationships that change through the game.
The game can be really hard for first timers, but It feels really rewarding when you finally win a hard battle (♥♥♥♥ you Wiegraf)

About the remake:
The Ivalice Chronicles has a lot of improvements over the original, you can fast forward the animations during battle, the interface is cleaner and the translation is better.
The only negative point I can think about this version is that It is missing some extras from the previous remake (War of the Lions, for the PSP)

tl;dr: the best Final Fantasy made even better

Chrono Cross is really hard to recommend, the game has some good ideas but there are many flaws.

Here are the good parts about this collection (I'm including both games)
- First official port of Radical Dreamers in english, really fun text based game, I really like the endings
- Fast Forward is a huge improvement for CC, the game is full of slow animations, and you have to redo a lot of stuff to get everything
- The parallel worlds of CC are fun to explore
- The connection between CC and Chrono Trigger is thin, but It is there and It is fun to try and connect the dots

Now all the bad/stupid stuff
- The cutscenes are unskippable and they kept the original low resolution
- Most characters have very little plot relevance
- The endings in CC are not that interesting, Chrono Trigger did It way better
- There is a lot of expository dialogue right before the final fight
- The final boss is really boring, and you have to fight It many times to get every ending

tl;dr Radical Dreamers is outdated, but fun; CC is a game with good ideas, but feels rushed/incomplete.
This is the best version if you want to try those games

This game is amazing, one of the best old school style metroidvania.

I bought this game on humble bundle, and didn't expect a lot, but It really delivers with great gameplay and graphics.

Here is a list of what I liked
- Impressive pixelart, even with a really limited color pallet tha graphics are great, I like specially the bosses and backgrounds
- Huge map that is fun to explore with multiple routes and secret areas
- The death mechanic is really interesting
- All the playable characters are useful and fun to play
- The extra modes are a good twist to the gameplay
- You can pay to reveal the whole map later in the game, so you don't need a guide

I have some complaints, but It is mostly nitpicking
- Sometimes when you jump near the top of the screen you enter the next room and resets the room you were in
- I wish there were more ways to heal
- The map should show which portals are connected

tl;dr GET THIS GAME IF YOU LIKE METROIDVANIAS, IT IS ONE OF THE BEST

I really like this game, but there are so many problems/bugs that It is hard to recommend.

The gameplay is similar to Dandara, where you are always locked to a wall, and Super Hot, where the world only moves when you move. After you get used to It the game is really fun to go through.

Now, here is the important part, a list of complaints/bugs, I hope the devs can take It as feedback

- The Chronosphere button is the same as the "open door" button, sometimes you waste your chrono while changing room
- When you first start the game your character is really weak/limited, and getting upgrades is a pain in the ass
- For a game about turn based movement your combo and the healing item disappear too fast
- Every time I go back to the main menu and try to start a new run my game crash
- Sometimes enemies get stuck on the wall
- One time my map didn't have a final room
- I got locked spinning in the air and lost my run

Overall the game is solid, but It lacks polishing

Crypt Custodian is a flawless mix of metroidvania and topdown Zelda

As a fan of both metroidvanias and zelda-like I can say, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.

Here is a list of all the great things about the game
- The graphics and OST are great
- Gameplay feels really good from begging to end, some metroidvanias start a bit clunky, but this is not the case
- The map is huge and really fun to explore
- The plot is really basic, but the characters turns It into a great experience, I love the pictures showing the characters life (the ending is also good)
- There are some puzzles and they are simple, but interesting
- You can fast travel from anywhere, so backtracking is not tedious
- There is pretty much no punishment for dying, the game is really forgiving

Here are the only negative things I could think
- Some characters have a lot more development than others, I really wanted to know more about everyone
- There is one puzzle at the end that I had no idea how to solve

tl;dr Get this game, It is accessible and really fun

Since this is a collection of emulated games with a bit extra I will separate the review in three parts

Part 1, the emulation:
The emulation is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, It does the bare minimum, there is no rewind, no savestates, no tech improvements, and some people complain about input lag.
Not having save states is a pain in the ass in the first two games, since the password system sucks.

Part 2, the games:
- X1: this one is great, the stages, the bosses, the music, everything is great, my only complain is the password system that doesn't save your Hadouken or which Sigma stage you are in, so don't close the game, or you will lose a bunch of progress.

- X2: this one is good, not as good as the first, the bosses are not as memorable and you only get the shoryuken in the last stage, so It is basically useless

- X3: this one sucks, really annyong level design and the bosses do too much damage, without the upgrades you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. This is the first game where you can play as Zero, but It is not that clear, I only learned about It in the last stage

- X4: this one is a masterpiece, playing as Zero is amazing, the way he moves and attacks is perfect. X is also fun to play, his movement is really smooth. This is by far the easiest X game, which is not a bad thing.

Part 3, Challenge mode
This is a gauntlet of boss fights, but you fight two bosses at the time.
It is a chaotic/interesting mode, but nothing to write home about

tl;dr Get this collection if you like old school platform games, and want to play It just like they were originally, no save states or anything.

Metal Slug Tactics is a really underrated game that mixes the world of metal slug with a Tactical Rogue Lite RPG.

This game is amazing, there are some bugs and the interface is a bit weird, but the gameplay is really fun and addicting.

Here are the good points:
- Amazing pixelart and animations, just like the original games
- All the playable characters are unique and fun to play
- Since this is a rogue lite you can't overlevel, so every run is challenging
- There are different types or missions, so It is not always about killing the enemy army
- Great difficult level, at first It looks really hard, even on easy, but when you learn the game It is a nice challenge

Now the bad part:
- The interface is a bit complicated, there is a lot of info, so It is overwhelming in the begginin
- The controls are weird, for a tactics game It uses a lot of buttons, sometimes you select an option pressing A, other times you hold Y, or just press R2
- Bugs, there are some minor bugs, like saving a POW and It not counting for the side objective
- Losing save file, due to a power outage I lost 30 hours of progress

tl;dr: get this game if you like Tactical RPGs and is up to a challenge

Yakuza 4 is kinda hard to recommend, the plot is interesting and I really like on of the new characters, but there is a bunch of negatives.

Here is what I like about the game
- I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love Akiyama, love his gameplay, backstory and personality. A 10/10 new characters, I wish there was an Akiyama gaiden
- The plot is kinda convoluted, but It is interesting
- The gameplay is a step above Y3, not as good as the Kiwami games, but not bad at all

Now the bad part
- Some parts of the game are really boring, like playing as Saejima in jail
- The game is a bit too easy, I only died once
- Playing as Saejima and Tanimura feels really bad before you get some upgrades
- The story has a lot of Yakuza cliches, many rubber bullets, enemies getting guns from the ground and backstabbers

Overall the game is ok, but there are some really dull parts
