The only big negative I can think of is that this game can be very detrimental to your sleep schedule. Really waiting for the Age of Wonders: Planetfall 2 now

Perfect length for a typical Ubisoft offering. It's not a particularly innovative or outstanding game, but what is on offer is one of the better OT Star Wars worlds to lose yourself in for 30 hours or so. It doesn't get the time to start building fatigue and resentment (looking at you, Assassin's Creed/Far Cry), it tells a good enough story and lets the player inhabit the role of more-or-less everyday Rogue in the Galaxy. Not something to truly recommend to non-SW fans and certainly not something that deserves to be in any GOTY discussions, but as a "video game fast-food" meal, this one is good value. Think of it as a seasonal burger from McDonalds: it is a lot more interesting than their usual Big Macs, but at the end of the day it is still a McD Burger.

Early Access Review
This isn't going to change your mind, if you were not a fan of ARPGs before. Still the same boring "cookie clicker+" gameplay. The addition of dodge didn't change anything about the game: you still just run around clicking the skill of your choice many times in a gray-brown world, gray-brown forest or a gray-brown burrow and things die, sometimes dropping "excitement" like the loot you don't need, gold you don't care about or gems for skills you are not going to use, since the entirety of the game is still about spamming the same one or two buttons over and over again.

I don't even know what else to tell: the entirety of the genre's "campaigns" and "character building" can be distilled to its core over a single Hades run, so if you got, let's say, 100 units of arbitrary enjoyment out of something like Grim Dawn over 40 hours and you get the same 100 units of arbitrary enjoyment out of a 40 minute Hades run, the calculations of enjoyment per minute are definitely not in the favor of the former. Path of Exile 2 does nothing to change the formula in a meaningful way, unless you are willing to dive deep into the minutia of mediocrity.

It also doesn't have the other "gaming" hooks either: there is no story, there is no character development outside of getting better at being a murderhobo, no dialogue choices in the first hour of the game and no interesting world. Just a grey-brown blob of nothingness you get to tint slightly red by pressing a single button multiple times. I can do that in MS Paint.

A proper Strategy game with no micro. Sweet, short and is always to the point.
