The sheer amount of glitches and game-breaking bugs have made playing Helldivers 2 impossible
and even if these bugs were fixed, some of the intended design decisions are baffling to hear about.
I want to play this game, I really do. But if I'm not having fun anymore, then why am I even bothering

Never has a game hooked me as quickly and wonderfully as Tavern Talk has.
Right from the get-go the visuals and the setting were gorgeous, and then sitting down behind the bar and the first character walks into the tavern and greets themselves, and I've already fallen in love with this game.
Ever since then, booting it up and seeing all the characters come and go, sharing their stories and having a charming back-and-fourth with the Innkeeper has been nothing short of pure bliss.

For how simple it is, it's really fun doing a couple of runs every now and then and seeing how broken the builds can get.
My one major gripe is that literally a single mistake is all it takes to kill you, even with defensive scrolls, multiple dodges, and a good number of upgrades maxed out. Needless to say it makes it just a bit infuriating.
Devs are active which is nice to see, so hopefully there's tweaks in future, either to enemies or the health system in general.

This game has been an absolute delight every time I boot it up.
The gameplay is pretty samey all around for each level. consisting of just "go here, shoot the bad things, go there, shoot some more bad things, big skull boss battle" but I've found the enemy variety so far has kept me on my toes, and the weapons are all incredibly fun to use.

and of course the soundtrack is god tier. I've already found myself humming along to Burial at Night whenever I'm doing something else, and during gameplay it really does get you properly in the zone.
