Because gacha is love, gacha is life. While the west detest the idea of gacha, we here absolutely love it.
We use gacha as affectionate term in daily life or as jokes, we have gachas in our stores, gachas in our events, it's basically everywhere
We have gachas in our popular culture, in our comics, heck the japanese even have mangas with characters that revolve around their gacha habit in jest or positively rather than negatively or in cautionary way like the west prefer us to think.
And yes I'm not even Japanese, I'm huebr, and whenever I see reddit going on this silly crusade against gacha, while baffles me to no end I just shake my head, the west really does not understand
They think us prey, us victims
We are not, we love this
Or what? Do you really think Granblue, Hi3, and countless other succesful games were succesful not because gacha?
Believe me if they make games without gacha on mobile it will fail and not be as successful as gacha games.
Nintendo has tried, Sony has tried, for what? Meager returns? Lack of interest?
You might dislike my stance or what I stood for, lots has downvoted me for saying the truth
But people love gacha, they chose gacha, the west might not understand, they scream and ask their court of laws to protect them from something that is voluntary in nature unable to see their folly
And gacha will stay
