Okay , so after 37 hours of playing i must say , this is the best part after Borderlands 2. The story is good, villains are interesting, every one of them are different, and most importantly, they are not cringe, not like u know what part :D , side quest funny and quit a lot of them. A lot of easter eggs , big map although I'm not the biggest fan of all the collectibles.
GUNS GUNS AND MORE GUNS So far, I am enjoying it a lot. The gunplay is extremely spicy and feels really good. There are a variety of new legendary weapons available that have fun and crazy effects , hope that they will add more new weapons to chose from i wouldn't mind even if they add some legendary weapons from past parts. characters are good mixes from different parts of borderlands , although i would love to see more pure melee characters like Brick , Krieg and Rafa love em its my second to go after siren game play :> .
Optimizing the big elephant in the room, yes it's not the best but it ain't so bad like some people say, i see those comments; I have a top PC build with all the best parts, and I can't get more than 60 fps. Maybe the problem is not fully in the game? I have a pretty good build running: GPU: 4070 Super, 32GB RAM, cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-core, and I am playing in 4K. I am getting 110-120 fps, in mass fights it drops to smooth 90fps no big drops, so im satisfied yes it took me a lil bit of time playing with sliders but i found my gold point. I am eager to observe improvements in optimization and would like to elevate some of the settings to a higher level.
Now bugs, to be honest, didn't see that many; no crashes in 37 hours. During prolonged game play, certain side quests stopped functioning. For instance, I couldn't open chests, talk to NPCs, or give quest items to them. Additionally, while capturing propaganda speakers, mobs didn't spawn. It wasn't game breaking, simply exiting to the main menu and then continuing fixed it. It's a discomfort, but not unbearable, and not on a regular basis.
I just hope Gearbox wont quit on improving this game its really good. so far loving it.
