While the combat feels not quite as good as the non-remake games, they did a great job, and at first the combat feels very constricted, but you do earn new moves and upgrades to those moves, and it improves a lot, not to mention that you also get a new weapon later on in the game, making things even more flexible.

The puzzly nature of the environment is great. I liked the story, or maybe I really liked the story.

After completing the game there is a new game+ mode which makes the game more challenging and lets you keep your current armor and upgrade it in new ways and probably get more armor. However, after playing it once, I really have no desire to go back through it and play it again. It is one of the best games, in my opinion, but once you've seen everything and solved the puzzles, there's really not much point of going through it again, in my opinion. I tried new game+ a month after beating the game, but I just didn't really care anymore, because I already knew what was going to happen. Maybe some years down the line I'll want to experience the game again.

Not very realistic, in my humble opinion. I expected more from this game. Waste of money.

Way too arcadey. I loved Dirt 2 and Dirt 3, and this is supposed to capture that feeling again but it fails in almost every way. The controls are the worst(It feels like need for speed or ridge racer), the tracks are not well thought out(it doesn't matter if you go left or right at a fork in the road), the handling of the Dirt Sprint Cars is completely wretched. Dirt 2 and 3 got a lot of complaints from people saying the driving wasn't technical enough, but actually you had to have a decent level of technical skill, but this is just made for infants with no skill who want to play a beautiful looking game. Also, there is some weird hiccup/stutter effect of the environment when turning at certain corners. I wish I didn't waste my money on this. Very unhappy. Codemasters/Codewreckers has really lost touch with what makes a good racing game

I loved the boss fights in this game. It's like "arkham city", but with better boss fights. If you like the two that came before this, you should love this one. I also liked the fast-travel component(which you have to unlock for each area). My only complaint is that it had a few glitches for me, both on PC and PS3, that froze the game. Oh wait, I have one more complaint. To make enemies talk(Riddler informants give you intel when you threaten them) you just threaten them. They are like, "I'll never talk," and then batman tells them to talk in an angry voice, and then they are like, "all right, I'll talk". It sort of ruins the whole mood of the game at regular intervals, lol, but other than that absolute garbage dialog that some extremely idiotic dev/manager decided to put in the game, it's a good game.

WARNING. IT'S VERY VIOLENT. And now the review: It's not the best game. It's pretty repetitive. But, something about it got me hooked. I don't know if I actually enjoyed it, but it was addictive. The fighting is very, very similar to the latest batman games. The world looks good enough. At first, the world seemed to be the same old stuff everywhere. But, as you progress, you do see new terrain. Most of the missions and side quests are bite-sized. I found myself saying "I'm just going to do one more thing," but then I did 5 or 10 more things. I put 60 hours into this game. Maybe it's just because it's a little bit different than everything else that's out there. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that the camera doesn't follow the car very well. you have to adjust it manually as you are turning the car or else you will looking at the side of car while you drive. My second complaint is that the world is very big, but most of the side missions are basically the same old stuff. I grinded a lot, and still, I left a lot of small camps untouched because I didn't want to waste 40 more hours of my life doing worthless, mind-numbing stuff. There were a couple missions that I couldn't figure out how to progress and the solution was stupid. In one, you actually have to select a very specific subset of your older car equipment, that you had already used in the past, before Chumbucket will talk to you about the mission. It pissed me off. I had to go online to find the solution. Putting that aside, I liked the game. I got this on sale and I think it was money well spent.
