Edit: After beating this game, and pushing jokes aside, I'd like to say that this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic game, and it's *criminally* underrated. I really hope it gets a lot of attention soon, because it deserves every bit.

Where should I begin?

The designs - there's no shortage of unique designs, whether that be for enemies, NPCs or levels. It's all extremely unique.

The level design itself is fantastic. Each level is huge, offering much room for exploration, yet it still manages to guide you through it so you don't find yourself lost and confused.

The combat? Fun as ♥♥♥♥. Since there are so many enemies and a literal boatload of weapons, combat never gets stale - the best part is that as you play, you'll begin to figure out mechanics (like the dash jump), which makes combat a lot more fun and intense.

The NPCS, where do I begin... I love every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NPC in this game. Despite how cruel some parts of this world can be, some NPCs still shine bright like a beacon in the darkness. Sweet, silly... it's so peak, bro.

The only *possible* negative I could see is that it's hard to switch between the many weapons there are, but even then, melting them down is still a very effective mechanic for that situation. Still, a sort of half-life weapon switch mechanic would make switching between weapons so much quicker on the fly.

All in all? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic game. The story was extremely captivating, as was literally everything else. And honestly? I must say... this might just be my GOTY. Hell, this might just be one of my favorite games of all time, if not *the* favorite. Devs, I wish you well in all your future endeavors. You've crafted a wonderful game, and I wish I could experience it again. Thank you.

P.S. Juli is still my wife. I'm in love. And the fact that one of the biggest reasons she was added and designed the way she was, was just because she was hot is both hilarious and extremely awesome.

A lot of games nowadays, especially those produced by big names, tend to oversell and underdeliver. They'll promise huge things, claim how *their* game will be the game of the year, how there's so much to do... only to follow up on 30% of those promises. And not even well, either.

Now, take the exact opposite of that, and you've got HOLE.

First glance, it doesn't seem like much. A small extraction shooter where you just shoot people. The description of the game doesn't really give you much information aside from that.

But the actual game itself is SO GOOD. Things will happen that you least expect, making the experience *that* much more interesting. The gunplay and combat is fantastic, and every enemy poses a challenge - even when you're in the endgame, it's rather difficult.

The only gripe I have with this game is that I wish there was more. More levels. More weapons. More more more. I'll be ecstatic if this game gets more updates or if the devs make another game. Until then?

seriously a 11/10, every part is so meticulously and carefully crafted that even a second playthrough wouldn't be boring, as you'd learn even more from this amazing story
