I'll throw my positive review onto the heaping mountain around this game. I can't help it, it's just THAT good. Though I recognize that saying this might come across as just hopping on the bandwagon, it would simply be a lie for me to say that this isn't one of the single best games ever put to code. Full stop. There's a reason it's gotten all of this praise heaped upon it. If you haven't already, find out that reason yourself.

They poured all of the design budget into the aesthetics of Neomuna with no effort left over for level design.

This is my second favorite FPS that I've ever played on PC.

The learning curve is steeper than any game I can recall playing, and it will almost certainly take many, many hours of trial and error before you can get the hang of it, but once you do there's a near-endless amount of fun to be had. The extreme variety of Operators and abilities throughout the different maps lends itself to countless new and different ways to play, such that it never seems to get old even after hundreds of hours.

It's great fun. Unlike other Civ games that need several expansions to become great, Civ VI has enough new mechanics that work to be amazing at base. The districts system is especially interesting, and it's my favorite new mechanic added to Civ.
Would recommend.

Addendum 7/31/2018:
To this day, I still highly recommend this game. The Rise and Fall expansion is a very solid addition to the already-solid core game mechanics. The Loyalty and Ages systems are very interesting new tools to further build your civilization, and the Governors (while a fairly small addition) are nonetheless fun to play with in their own right. The new civilizations and leaders are also just what the game needed, altogether adding more variety to each game.

I've written this addendum after the "RedShell" fiasco, which was justly criticized by the community and has since been settled with the program removed in its entirety. Now there's no controversy to stand in the way of enjoying this game.

Grab some friends and head online for potentially endless hours of fun with minigames, races, heists or just getting creative in free roam. Or you could just, y'know, play the single player mode for a great story with...interesting characters. But the multiplayer is where you'll get most of your amazing times.
And be every wary of the online randoms. Some can be friendly, but most are probably out to destroy everything you hold dear. Don't be afraid to strike first if they make a move.

I absolutely, positively, 100% recommend this game.
Yes, it has its differences from Fallouts past. This is not the first time a Fallout game has come along that shakes things up a bit.
The combat feels so fluid and smooth now, whereas before it was clunky and stiff. It's a real blast to fight off the hordes of irradiated enemies now. The AI has also seen improvement, as enemies and allies will now take cover and sometimes block melee attacks, which provies a greater challenge.
The crafting system is incredible, and balanced. The ability to add multiple mods to each weapon (depending on what perks you get) not only improves performance but also makes the weapon feel like yours. Also, crafting does not negate drops, as legendary items provide bonuses you can't get from a crafting bench. That, or you might get an item drop that already has several mods you don't have the perks for.
There isn't too much to say about the settlements and building system: it's just fantastic. You can leave your own, unique mark on the world.
I do agree that the game has some flaws. Primarily, the fact that there are few ways to be a villian, at least in relation to actual quests and the storyline. You can still shoot up towns and raid stuff.
As for the controversial dialogue wheel, I can see where some people have complaints about it. However, the introduction of the wheel is not an inherently good or bad addition: it's all subjective, based on player preference. Personally, I don't mind the wheel at all. I think the options suffice for anything I would have wanted to say, and only once or twice have I found that the option said something other than what I'd thought it would. I believe the added cinematic conversation is worth it.
As for the graphics...yes, they aren't the greatest, most realistic graphics ever. Some textures are even sub-par. But, once again, I personally think the game still looks great. Besides, graphics are not and never have been a very important aspect of Bethesda games.
Some people also complain about the new SPECIAL and leveling system, to whom I respond with a sigh. The skills in F3 and FNV almost completely negated your SPECIAL stats, such as being able to pass any speech check with only 1 Charisma because you have 100 Speech. In F4, your SPECIAL stats truly define your character (and what perks you can get), so each stat really makes certain game elements work well for you. That being said, this game does not constrict you from dipping into other game mechanics that fall outside your SPECIAL stats, such as a Strenght/Melee character popping a few caps or vaporizing a few Super Mutants with energy weapons. Besides, with an infinite level cap, you can eventually play your character any way you want. The new leveling system, in my opinion, does not detract from the role-play element. It adds to it.
All in all, I and everyone I've talked to who has played the game are having more fun in Fallout 4 than we have in any other game within recent memory. Bethesda put their heart and soul into this game to make it a wonderful experience, and their hard work paid off. In our opinion, it actually lives up to the hype.

This game deserves far more attention--and praise--than it gets. So much fun for such a small price. If played with at least one friend, that is.
