I'm quite sad there's no "middle thumb" on steam because that's pretty much how I feel about recommending Wilds.
The game costs 70€ and is still totally not polished enough, for PC at least.
The content is awesome, the game is gorgeous (when you can run it) and the gameplay is really insanely good in my opinion.

But there's still some questionable choices that I already hated in world and iceborne, like, why rotate event quests?
Honestly who keeps up to date with which event quest is up when you're not playing actively? And even then, the image of just coming back when an event quest is up is just sad, you used to be able to just play the game and not just wait for the kind schedule to bring back x event quest for farming armor spheres, or even the Arch Tempered monsters (I know it has been made permanent but still, the idea was just bad in the first place).

This is sad because I feel that the actual teams who work on the game are really passionate about it, but as usual with modern gaming (and tbh any service or product and even art nowadays). Executives have to maximise profits by cutting corners here and there and making the overall experience worse.

I wouldn't recommend the game in its current state, I might change the review if things get more acceptable.

PS: And to admit that I'm a hypocrite, I still bought the game full price right after launch... And the first music pack because I'm a weak idiot.

There's lots of videos on the internet that describes why this is a very good MMORPG.
Everyone of course has their opinion on what makes a good MMORPG and for adult me, it is the way games respects your time.
Guild wars 2 does that in one of the the best ways an MMO could, very few time gated content and no gear treadmill.
It is one of the most "I work and come back home to have some fun for 1-3 hours max and go to bed" MMO that I know of.
(Prerequisite of that is having the "I can play for fun and not always for max efficiency" kind of mindset which not everyone has ((((I also struggle to keep that mindset sometimes)))) )

Definitely a very fun game, i thought i'd regret the 40€ price tag but honestly, even being early access, the game is very very fun and I hope it has a long life.

Having 3 bile titans chase you while you run for your life trying not to die waiting for your 500kg bomb and orbital laser to reload is an interesting experience.

Though I am sad that there is no way (that i know of) to play completely solo without connecting online (?)
And the anticheat seemingly being kernel level is sad, some friends of mine won't buy the game because of it and for good reasons sadly.

Really just wanted to leave a good review.
Factorio is good, if you like factory games, it's THE one to buy to have great references in the genre.

So fun. The tools are really creative and each one feels like it really opens up for so much possibilities. And the puzzle got me scraching my head lots. My only problem is that I was getting lost quite a lot of times, so maybe more indications on where this fast travel bump gets you would be good, but hell, I know my sense of direction is flawed.

The game is very good. It starts slow but when you get to a certain point it becomes super fun, just don't hesitate to search the wiki for stuff you don't know about. The fun is really worth the wait.
