The game is fun. I'm enjoying it.

I just wish it was released in a better state. Having my save corrupted because of a crash feels awful and it should never have happened in the first place if the game made proper backups and had an option to save manually. I was able to get my progress back with a new CompleteSave file (and some editing to get my XP and money back), map progress files were still there and functional, with the exception of one map that I have to redo from the start but it's better than starting over.
Lesson learned: Backup your save files in case of corruption.

Update, post Patch 2.0:

If Steam had a 'maybe' button, I'd use it. For now though, I'm changing my recommendation from Yes to No.

Patch 2.0 really made the game more buggy than it fixed things. As a newbie developer myself, I get how difficult game development is, but I'm frustrated by the lack of apparent testing. Patch 2.0 was delayed a few weeks to allow the devs to polish it further, yet we got an even buggier game! Where are your QA testers, Saber? The game should've been released as an Early Access title. With Early Access, I think I'd have been less frustrated about the current state of the game. The engine was clearly not ready for release.

For what it's worth, I still enjoy the game. But I can't recommend the game as it stands right now. You need to do better, Saber.

The game is as fun as I remember it to be back in the OG days.

It runs well on singleplayer mode, no crashes at all. The same can't be said for co-op mode, however, as the game kept crashing every 30 minutes or so. So frequently in fact, that both my partner and I gave up trying to play together.

With that out of the way, it's still a solid 8/10 for the singleplayer experience alone.
