I heard about its disastrous release back in 2016. And honestly, the game was improved, but not much. Its visual style is too bright, I would prefer it to be more "realistic" like Elite Dangerous. You can do many things in NMS, but you run out of fun very fast. You can create a huge corvette, but to do what? It is basically a bigger ship (so it is not always comfortable to play in 3rd person view) with some additional modules (playing missions, refinery, farming plants etc). It is not much better than normal spaceships, sometimes even worse (modules that you find are not enough for maneuverability or further warping). It was an example based on the most recent update.

But if you want to sit back and relax, that is a good game to do so.

Silent hill being a cultural phenomenon of videogame industry got much love from its fanbase. Of course that series had some rises and falls. And now we are witnessing the rise of silent hill franchise.

My first encounter with silent hill series started with a first movie long time ago. Many years later I saw some fan-theories about plot of silent hill 2 with Akira Yamaoka's music in the background. It blew my mind how cool and deep sounded all these theories and Yamaoka's music was only amplifying this effect. Then I decided to play silent hill series starting with SH2. It was a mixed experience, great story, atmosphere, ambiance, but horrible control and puzzles (but one should get used to them). And I was playing following guides which is a very big mistake. Couple of years later, I retried to play SH2 without guides. It was the best way to play it.

When I saw that Konami are going to remake SH2, I was not that mad fan who was complaining about the quality of remake. The og SH2 will not be forgotten or replaced by its remake. You can always come back and play it again. And I had a bit of hope that Bloober Team is cooking a masterpiece. I want to sincerely thank them for their effort and dedication to the original with all these past glitches, references. Overall, the story is different, it has more elements than the original game giving a deepness to James's character. Like the scene at the bar with Maria when he looks at the drink. It makes me think that what he did to Mary was also because of the alcohol addiction.

I don't think that my opinion, recommendation will change anything. If you want to play it, then play it. If you don't, then take your time and decide later. I also hope that the next remake is SH4. I have nothing against SH1 or SH3, but I feel like SH4 deserves another chance because of its outstandingly interesting conception and because at the time it was not complete (i.e. The UFO ending or some items whose traces can be found among its files). I'm sure that Bloober team will not fail it. Anyway, I am looking forward to playing mysterious SH f.

It's a very difficult game. Not so many people play it nowadays because of release of Tekken 8.

This game has a good idea, but dead execution.
1) The biggest problem of that game is: if mastermind has high ping, then you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Because, shots are delayed, his attacks are not.
2) 1 person always quits. So it is not 4 vs 1, but 3 vs 1.
3) Movement is not comfortable.

I would like to start my review with the fact that I played original RE2. I had to play multiple times some scenarios because there was some fatal bugs during the walkthrough. However, I liked the game and appreciated the difference between scenarios A and B. They were complementing each other.
I had huge expectations from remake as it had perfect almost full of despair atmosphere. The AI of Mr. X was interesting to play with. I started playing as Leon on Hardcore difficulty. And it was my biggest mistake. The game on that difficulty doesn't let you making mistake(s). I had to replay some moments as I had no almost no ammo or healing for the bosses or enemies. Of course, if you completed the game on normal or assisted difficulty, then you already know what will happen and how to manage supplies the best way. Finishing on hardcore was very challenging for me, but I had a great pleasure of killing Mr. X at the end, probably no other game will give me the same emotions.
Then I started Claire A scenario also on hardcore, but it was not really difficult as 70-80% of Claire's scenario is similar to Leon's. Finally, I started playing B scenarios expecting considerable differences compared to A scenarios. And I was completely disappointed as there was no difference. Only order of items that you find is different. From that moment game started to be boring for me. And I have no will to play it more.
To sum up, this is a good game. Harsh sometimes: like Mr. X on hardcore definitely knows where you are and it's difficult to get rid of him, long sections that you need to pass over and over (reference to final fight with MR. X). Good controls, graphics (but it would be great to be able to change the intensity of colors as the game is full of 50 shades of grey), good optimization and fun extra-modes (except TOFU survivor).

Undying classics. Old, but gold and feels better than cs 2.

Old good classic game. May be it's the first one I ever played in my life.

It's not the best game which you are supposed to play in 2020.
