I'm tired, boss.
I'm getting off the MICA dartboard thrill ride.
I've finally had enough of the unpredictable events and banners. The snail pace story progression. The mismatched Funsmokes.

It should be mentioned that the upcoming Sakura event even has spoilers for a major event that pretty much everyone's waiting for. It's not even the first time MICA has done this. The story is the one thing keeping me in this, and now they're screwing it up too for god knows why.

Gacha wise, I actually think this game is somewhat generous with the pulls. In fact I have 600+ pulls saved up for the DEFY girls, but I'm just tired at this point. I don't even really care about the skin gacha fiasco.

I can't believe I'm saying this as a gacha degenerate, but imo they went overboard with the gooner designs. There are peak tacticool designs like Alva my beloved, and on the other hand there are Nikketa boobflaps and Qiuhua. Really wish they kept the GFL1 Nikketa design.

As many have said, it's a fun game with top tier sound design. Soundtrack is simply out of this world.

Drawbacks are mainly replayability and late game balance. You can tweak the settings for more of a challenge if you wish to, I'm just not that fond of challenge runs.

Got it on sale, I think it's worth what I paid.

[Edit - 16 hours later at 50 hour mark: Crashes have become more and more unpredictable, sometimes as short as 30 minutes. If it works for you, lady luck is with you. I'll just have to join the bug report thread that has 5,000 comments and counting...]

This is the first time I actually cared to leave a negative review for a game.

I love this game, the story is good so far, the characters are great. I don't even mind the dungeon crawling that feels a little outdated.

But the random crashes after dungeon crawling for 2 hours or so.. oh god

It's a really fun game when it's not crashing - just be sure to save every two floors or so in the dungeon.

Sacrifice some in-game yen to get Goho-M to quit dungeon and save your progress. Really helps to keep your sanity and prevent keyboard destruction.

The thought that there would probably be more difficult (thus longer) dungeons in the future fills me with dread. I'm supposed to look forward to harder content, not fear when is the next crash that will undo hours of progress.

TL;DR Decent but unpolished game. Get it on sale if you must.

Relaxing gameplay. Craft stuff to expand your town, while upgrading your workshop.
I don't really need to expand on the good parts since there are many positive reviews that will do a far better job.

Writing is OK but feels a little shallow. Don't expect Stardew Valley level writing here.

I want to love this game, I truly do. But even as of this post, 1 year after release, the game just feels unpolished at times. Some are bugs, some are just poor design imo.

Some examples include:
-Game only saves when you sleep at night. Might seem trivial to some but read on
-Getting stuck in dungeons. Time pauses in dungeon, so you can't even wait for 3AM when you pass out to the next day. Only way is to exit the game and start the day from the beginning.
-Quests that requires you to spend 1-2 hours slowly walking triggers without warning. Good luck if you unknowingly accepted it on Event Days. You either miss the event or cancel the quest and take the relationship/reputation hit.
-Missable achievements. At least one achievement is only obtainable in a particular point in main story that is not repeatable.
-Voiced lines. Some lines don't match the transcript. The latest Remington quests even has all his voice and transcript lines off by 1. The voice always says the line of the next dialogue. Seems like that should be easily rooted out on testing?
-Pay/Dates. You are unable to date any characters on an event day / if certain quests are in progress, but the game will allow you or NPC to invite, then only to cancel it on the next day. At least they seem to have removed the relationship hit when it is canceled, but again, it seems like a simple check that can be done before allowing invitations.

I could go on and on with the bugs and poor design, but this should give a rough idea on what to expect. Game is nice but I always have that nagging feeling that it could've been so much better. Getting punished for bugs (having to restart days, relationship hits etc) takes away from the relaxing experience.

That said, it's still a decent game for its price when on sale. The devs still release patches between months, maybe these will eventually be fixed. As of now, get it on sale if you are OK with some annoyance.
