I don't know how I can be so bad on a game that requires you to basically just press one button. But I am.

And I love it.

This game just nails everything; climbing mechanics, resource management, game feel, atmosphere, an interesting diegetic UI, the balance of deserved exasperation and earned triumph. It's hard to convey into words just how many details the devs get right, like Aava yelling in frustration after a fall to individually checking how hurt are each of your fingers.

If you enjoy slow, methodical and pusishing (but fair) games, Cairn is a must play. Well, the demo. Hopefully the full game will be as well!

Really excited for the full release, I think the devs have something really special here.

Played a couple of hours and now I can't wait for the full release, what a game! I was worried from the previews that it'd be repetitive, but the sheer amount of attacks, schools and enemy variety keeps the fights fresh.

I wasn't interested in the story at first, but with it unraveling through the school path's I changed my mind, eager to know what happens next.

All in all, probably a day one buy!

A wonderful mix of a roguelite, turn based RPG-esque combat and base/squad management, presented in a beautiful gothic style and a memorable narrator that dynamically commentates on your progress.

Quite hard at first and you might feel wronged by the RNG at times, but preparation and knowledge mitigates a lot of the bad luck. Plus, the game does allow you to fall back and regroup at various moments, with little to no downside besides time lost (which is only a real factor for achievements or if you're playing at the highest difficulty).

All in all a must play for whoever enjoys the genre. A big bonus as well is the modding community, which is incredibly active and has made top quality mods, giving Darkest Dungeon even more replayability than it already has!

As a product there's little to complain about SF6, it works perfectly well: good netcode and matchmaking, good production value, graphics and single player content.

As a game, it really depends on what you're looking for. I'm not recommending it because it mostly doesn't have what I'm looking for in competitive Street Fighter. The game thrives on generally low risk, medium-to-high reward offense and resources are pratically full at round start, which means initiating said offense is a lot easier than defending it. While I am a fan of ease of execution it is paired with really high damage overall, which leads to a smaller skill gap than you'd like between players, since neutral and more granular decision-making happens less often and it's common for rounds to steamroll.

We're now in season 3 and it seems that Capcom likes this design direction, so if that's something that appeals to you by all means take this as a positive recomendation. For me the game fell short in multiple ways and I just didn't feel like playing anymore after a while.

EDIT: Small edit because I think it's relevant: in game currency purchase is really scummy. It makes you buy in bundles of 250 when a character is 300 coins, so you can't really buy just what you need to. Not consumer-friendly, Capcom, c'mon.
