Nn... The cutscenes happens so rushed, it couldn't make me care for the too-animated characters or what is happening.
Its actual shmup parts are also not as fun, especially how the supposed aircraft gets in a larger form due to "reversed speed" or so. The flying shmup parts are very little, too.

Cute, engaging, and looks well-refined! <3

Thank you for full PS controller support & glyphs & nicely looping BGMs.

Great chiptune-modern blend of catchy, constant-beat music tracks that would just keep you calm & immerse-ingrained in climbing the tower while you deal with its weird residents.

"Ascending the Tower Further" and "End this World!!!", along with the default "Tower of building blocks" as the main theme/source of its leitmotif, are of course automatically epic;
so I'd like to give "Stopped Clock" as my best/favorite track. 'Wish it was made to track-loop nicely right on one's favorite media player though.

Well worth getting with the game. Thank you!

I don't know... I liked the concept alot, otherwise I wouldn't have wishlisted it for the longest time and finally bought it.
But in practice it's only made me annoyingly realize how bad I apparently am on a simple brick-breaking game made fantasy story & stuff. I'm aware it's likely more a me-problem and nothing against the game, but it's not worked for me.
I think it'll just take patience, but I couldn't afford applying it over here at this time.
'Could've had a demo.

Rather than prolong my unenjoyment, I'm just gonna leave.
The music is great though.

I'm really in it just for the stories and characters. The progression blocks, which is how this game is fundamentally made to be, gets in the way lots of times, and it required significant dailies investment... I mean, that's normal for a gacha game, but all the things add up, and it's just not feasible to play long.

Cards' & weapons' effects being restricted to a specific class AND/OR element/attack type, among other restrictive conditions; low gacha rates for high gem cost w/o much recuperation, albeit non-expiring exchange pt so there's not real pressure in attempting to get someone like right now.
My main complaint that is the big contributor is the EoS itself, like come on, JP is still running...
Now we're going back to MTLs.

Nevertheless, thanks.

Cuute, really gives ample customization & accessory choice with standard color picker across colorable parts, freely applicable for all 3 choosable/switchable job classes.
As it stands though, I couldn't recommend it yet for its finicky 16-axes movement on an analog, messy auto-/aiming, unclear-ish hitboxes, and large blanks between actions.

Specifics:
[ts]Gameplay[/ts] [ts]4/10[/ts]
Music/Sound
7/10 Lacks impactful sounds. Standard Master/SE/BGM volumes. Has silence in BGM loops.
Graphics
6/10 Performs well for my GTX 960m with 50% utility at peak frequency, for its non-configurable settings.
Settings/Interface
6/10 Recognizes DS4 and displays its glyphs. No X/O confirm swap.

With the release of Vol. 2, it seems it's solidified that we're really getting only 3 characters from this "Character Pass".
I only have this CharaPass DLC as part of the Deluxe Edition price, hoping that this would cover unlocking several characters to be released in the future.

I'm sorry, I'm not buying to that concept of expensive "passes" that cost half the base game's price for just a few characters. + scenarios and other trivial stuff, but those are alot less important for the main point of these "character passes".

I cannot support this practice for a "paid live service" multiplayer game any further.

Aaa it's nice juicy cute extra stuff, indeed~

I don't know how describe/review things w/o spoiling some of the contents much...

  • Nipples! for illustrations of characters not having illustations shown in the game. (I personally don't prefer it over non-drawn ones, but there you go)
  • Daang, the casual wear would've been very nice extra in-game content & story stuffs >/////<.
  • Wallpaper-able onsen! (1920x1080)
I would've liked actual non-colored sketches and more included variations, but maybe that's asking for too much.

Thank you for putting these out at all! <3

"Break" your katana sis as many times as we can while still winning the stage, let's goooo! +w+

A cute, quick little ecchi shmup! I definitely wish it was longer and had more~
A game Konpaku Youmu dreams of having for herself.
It seems to pay homages to shmups series of old while holding for its own, as well as actual cameos~.

Thank you for using the universal button position glyphs instead of the usual like XBox or PS buttons~

As a mostly PlayStation controller handler, I'm not for its XBox setup & buttons, but it still works well for the most part.

I very like it for the touchpads and how versatile it is, even though I haven't used it to its fullest potential.
